    I love how the small character complaints are about the Baby racers who've  been in since Double Dash and not the Koopalings. Literally, Bowser Jr. could have represented the Koopalings better while opening up slots for Dry Bones, Nabbit, King Boo, etc.  The babies are not the problem on this roster.

    I'm actually expecting Nintendo to try a DLC pass real close to MK8's release with new courses and characters, just like Mario Golf did.

    but it's not like Nintendo to keep that a secret they would say something. Though now that you mention it Nintendo didn't say we won't be getting DLC for MK8 and they haven't mentioned anything of the sort. So I guess we can pray that they do DLC!

    The Mario Golf DLC was announced like a day or two before release. I wouldn't be surprised if the same happens here.

    Mario Golf gave four new characters and three new courses I believe.

    Actually Mario Golf gave us, 4 new characters and 8 new courses I think. Though I do wonder how they are going to do it for MK8 since there is no DLC option in the game.
