It also depends on what worlds they use and ans what areas the have is visit in those worlds if we visit a village then yes, there should be a ton of NPCs, but if we're in the woods, then I don't expect much.

Yes please, especially the worlds in DDD felt SO empty. Take La Cité des Cloches for example, it felt more like a ghost town instead of Paris. There need to be more like the Traverse town from KH1 and Twilight town from KH2, but with even more NPC's

Ok, that's right, you can't expect to see NPC's in woods or whatever, unless it takes place in a world where the characters are from there.. But nonetheless the woods or whatever place it is, if the action takes place for example in the woods of Dwarf Woodlands, there could be life in it (birds, butterflies, deers, racoons, fishes in rivers, etc..) or if takes place in Atlantica: fish schools, other fishes, dolphins, sharks, turtles, mermaids everywhere), for Pride Lands ( elephants, hyenas, birds, etc) It's just my thoughts

Thats prolly cos of the flow motion oversizing all the rooms in DDD. With all the big open spaces, it makes it easier to feel like their ghost towns.

Also regarding OP I hope they turn out like the steam boat mickey world in kh2!!!!!!!! Where they have like, cute disney side characters that aren't necessarily important to the main plot, and serve as good character cameos and just inhabit the place.
