As we all know, Final Fantasy 15 was not shown at E3. Leading me to believe it will take even longer for this game to come out. With a major title such as this one, and E3 arguably being the biggest gaming convention in the world, Square usually shows two major trailers for the game once it's near the end of development (at E3) over a time period of two years (I'm talking about the English localization, much like with FF13) Meaning, the game will not be coming out in 2015 (at least for America) as many had speculated, but at the earliest: 2016. What is your overall feeling about Final Fantasy 15 not being at E3? I'm a little bit upset, I mean the story has to be completed at this point right? All that's left now is getting the gameplay and cutscenes in order. I'm also upset this game won't come out in 2015, I mean that would have been the perfect chance to release Final Fantasy 15! Lol

FINAL FANTASY XV has been in development since 2006 by the Kingdom Hearts team. That's the story in a nutshell.

I'm a little annoyed that the KH team is making FFXV and the Osaka Team is making KHIII, but overall I feel kind of apathetic to it. While the FFXIII games are fun to play, they aren't exactly FFVI-quality. Then again, this is the KH team we're talking about, so I have some amount of faith it'll be at LEAST fun.

I think Square Enix are planning on revealing major information at a Japanese gaming event (like Tokyo Game Show). They need to spread the love around and not show too much favoritism towards the West (:

Japan didn't get any new information last year (apart from a few seconds new footage), so they need to make it up to the fans in their home country.

Ummm. They got what we got. The trailer is even voiced in Japanese....

I think the Tokyo Game show will have a lot more info than anyone is expecting.  They could have released info at E3 (I guarantee there would have been something they could have shared) but that they are waiting for Tokyo game show to give the fans what they want.  Square has been rather quiet this year in regards to their two biggest games, they know that their fans are on their knees pleading for news, and I believe that they intend to deliver something good for TGS.  While what you say is quite possibly true, I wouldn't give up hope just quite yet.

That's what I'm saying. Last year we (the Western gaming community) got heaps of "new" footage and the reveal that FF Versus 13 had changed to FFXV and next gen, while Japan only got a few seconds extra footage (according to Wikipedia). Square Enix wouldn't give us new footage two years in a row while neglecting Japan.

I agree we'll probably get tons of information at TGS this year, so that has gotten me a bit excited. I hope I'm not wrong though lol xD.
