At four points around the mountain known as Evraius the Teragren captains went over the situation once more to be sure there was no confusion; this was a volunteer mission, there was a high risk of death, and once the climbers passed the Teragen gates onto the premises of Evraius they were no longer under the protection of the Teragren army, and nobody would help but the rest of their team members.Of the 19 volunteers that passed the test to be accepted into the Evraius mission there were now four teams, each of 4 or 5 people. The army had brought them to the four gates that separated Evraius from the Kingdom of Teragren. The strategy was that they may be more effective if they could split the Kamyn attention and thus have a better survival rate. Now the four teams sat at their respective gates, facing the world changing mountain that would be their future; Evraius. The teams were split up in the following ways:Gold Team, made up of Drale Vay, Amber Dolor, Cornelius Bastion, and Sandrew.Silver Team, made up of Sonya Bishop, Kinzoku Mors, Averain, and Jasper SummersIron Team, made up of Alice Thornsberry, Emert Berger, Morgan Etiam Vinctum, and Doctor Pellinore WartropPlatinum Team, made up of Apollo, Lance Alburght, Varion Hain, Fairy, Aya Kozakura, Sairi KozakuraEach of the gates rumbled opened painfully and slowly, with a history of destruction and cruelty beyond their metal bars."Okay." Each captain spoke to the respective teams as they mounted their horses once again and steered back toward the road."You all have 5 minutes to greet your new teammates and enter the gates. The magical locks will automatically close them again after that point. There won't be any returning until you have something substantial to return with." The gist of each captain's parting words were. They had all rehearsed together so the information would be similar for each group. It also helped mask the fear.And then each group was left alone, each with a gate and a beaten dirt path beyond it sitting before them. It was time to start the introductions and get going.It was time to start the climb.Watching every gate through spectral projections, Adriev pondered. He stood in a pure white room with 5 others. After watching the four teams for a few moments he turned to his peers: Efenton, Girver, Dante, and Vortimer. Only one was missing."So..." He spoke slowly, weighing every word. "What shall we do about this?"

Sanya switched to fox, once she had thrown the spheres back. She concentrated on the two Kamyn's battle. Rocks. Powers...tower...it was a lot to take in. The group here had enough...

They needed air power.

 

Phoenix form bursting to life, she rocketed into the air in a stunning display of lyrotechnics, and began to circle the two battling Kamyn, leaving a trail of fire that conected. She was forming a sort of wireframe sphere,  hoping her plan worked.

Jasper

"Never mind, let's talk about this later." Jasper said when he noticed the mess Tristan had gotten himself into. At first, he chose to sit back and see if this guy was as tough as acted. But after all three spiders went nuts and started shooting at Tristan's head again, Jasper decided it was time to intervene. He summoned his longsword Blighter, and charged at the nearest robotic spider. "Remember Tristan, we're a team, and in order to have any hope of surviving this place, we need to take full advantage of that fact." Jasper said, before jumping in front of the four legged creature, cutting off it's two front legs, and slashing through the laser on it's head as it came down towards him before it could react.

 

Amber

"Uh, thanks." Amber said to Ferro when he slashed off the shadows that were surrounding her. [Wow, he must be quite the swordsman to cut through those shadows without even touching me. But now it's my turn to help my teammates.] she thought, and then noticed Sandrew lighting up the area around them. [Well, at least Sandrew's willing to help the team. I was getting kind of nervous about him for a bit.] she thought, and then came to a realization. She didn't like using her shadow form, but they were going pretty much nowhere, and the team needed someone that wouldn't be stuck dead in their tracks if the light around them dissipated again. "Follow me!" she shouted to her fellow climbers, as a different kind of darkness began to cover her body, filling her with incredible strength and rage. Oddly enough, she could only see a couple of yards around her, probably since this darkness was artificial, but it was better than nothing. She charged ahead and made the first left, only to run strait into a dead end several yards later. Seemingly unfazed, dark Amber turned around and went the other direction, shouting to her teammates, "Don't go that way!"

Cornelius got the last bit of shadow off himself and dispelled his hard light field. He turned to see that was the light source was he was seeing.

"Ah." He commented when he saw Sandrew. "Excellent. I was unaware you could do that. It will be handy in his darkness."

He turned to Ferro, but turned back to Ferro as he was reminded of something.

"Don't overexert yourself, Sandrew." He advised. "This is far from over and we will need you later."

The Young Researcher rubbed his hands together and smiled.

"Shall we check on our other friends?"

I should toy with them a little," Ryu said to himself. The clouds grew darker around the Platinum team. The time for his battle was near.

"Understood.  I'll head down right now."  Griver responds, catching his orb in the right hand.  Turning around, he goes through a door and heads out of the room.  Appearing out of an area around the mountain peak, Griver says:  "To the fun."  Snapping his fingers, he starts levitating and descends down to Vaefrius' location.

((If any of that was to me, I also read your post, but as nothing was happening in that section I moved it forward because Ryu wasn't directly engaging them, and there wasn't any progress.))

((Awesome. BTW, I don't want any of that to come across as being on you. RP situations can just stagnate in general at times with no fault at hand and I don't want people to feel they are in a situation where there isn't a clear goal or next step and with the landslide coming to an end and Ryu not directly obstructing them I wanted to be sure that Platinum members didn't feel like they didn't have a direction. I previously edited my last post based on your character's actions you pointed out as well, so don't worry, I'm reading them :wink: . I don't mean to step on any toes here, I'm just trying to keep things moving as RPs can slow down or stop entirely easily enough without any direct cause. If there's anything else you feel like bringing up about the RP, don't hesitate to post in the discussion thread and I'll be around to help out as best I can, I want this to be cool for everyone involved.))

Varion was reckless. Dangerously so. Especially when things got hectic. He grinned and slammed his palms together before slamming them down on the ground. Earth erupted and formed into a massive stalagmite that burst out of the ground around Ryu.

"Eat this! All of it! Taste earth!"

So it seemed even the Kamyn had issues and betrayal amongst their ranks. This...Vortimer person...was clearly not aligned with the other Gods, and unfortunately was not willing to aid the Climbers either--he was against both sides. It probably stemmed from his apparent lack of sanity.

Emert grunted as one of the other Kamyn appeared behind both him and one of his allies--clearly intending to take them down.

"I shall not fall here!" Emert shouted, releasing a burst of energy that became a torrent of wind. It became a near-tornado that blasted away the rubble and the attacks that the Kamyn sent at him, "Grovel before me!"

Ryu opened his hand. A wave of vibrations disrupted the different elements within the stalagmites causing it to dissolve into mud.

"I'm not here to fight you all right now," Ryu sighed. He sat on a near-by rock. "I just want to talk for now," Ryu said.

"My name... is Alfeduir Birsingr. A god mostly renown for giving humans wisdom," Ryu continued.

As Vaefrius was charge towards the Iron Team,Vortimer began to do some desperate measures as he slash with his own right arm and creates a continuous bleeding as a sign of severely injured,and the blood on his right arm drops on his blade,causing a powerful glow."Screaming despair in chaotic silence,Fanatic Illusions!" Vortimer said as he then,throw his Saber to the sky and it became dark like a day without a Sun.Suddenly,a rain of swords will be impending down to that area,or the whole mountain if that's what it takes,all for one traitor.This is a double-edge attack that even the Kamyns,his own allies including himself,will be hit on that countless rain of blades...

The trap was done. Cathos held it in his mind, ready to fling it at the Kamyn. He ignored the darkness that suddenly filled the sky; he trusted his mental shield to protect him from most danger. Now all he had to do was get Vaefrius to attack him. He teleported so he was close to the Kamyn. "Hey Vaefrius! You just destroyed your own tower. I bet that sucks. How does it feel to be cast out by your own kind?" he taunted. He held the trap concealed, ready.

Looking to Jasper as he entered the fight against the mechanical spiders Tristan gave a slight sigh "It's not like i forgot we were a team i just wanted to make sure this wasn't a trap everyone wouldn't get caught up that's why i went in first but in the end i guess that plan didn't work out all that well" suddenly noticing the the spider he had caused to go berserk earlier Tristan noticed the spiders laser heading towards Jasper quickly reacting to this site Tristan quickly steps in front of Japser and blocks the magical laser with his sword "Hum didnt plan on revealing this part so soon it was actually a trump card i had planned on using on the kamyn but heck desperate times call for desperate measures" as the magical beam pulled away from Tristan and Jasper the wrapping's on Tristan's blade burned to reveal the true shape of his blade and ruins running along the length of the blade "A blade with the ability to cancel out magic to a certain degree any magic it cuts or comes into contact with can be nullified and..." running at rapid speed Tristan reached the mechanical spider and with one rapid slash cut right down the center of its body "well lets just say this baby aint no butter knife for when it comes to slicing at things"
