At four points around the mountain known as Evraius the Teragren captains went over the situation once more to be sure there was no confusion; this was a volunteer mission, there was a high risk of death, and once the climbers passed the Teragen gates onto the premises of Evraius they were no longer under the protection of the Teragren army, and nobody would help but the rest of their team members.Of the 19 volunteers that passed the test to be accepted into the Evraius mission there were now four teams, each of 4 or 5 people. The army had brought them to the four gates that separated Evraius from the Kingdom of Teragren. The strategy was that they may be more effective if they could split the Kamyn attention and thus have a better survival rate. Now the four teams sat at their respective gates, facing the world changing mountain that would be their future; Evraius. The teams were split up in the following ways:Gold Team, made up of Drale Vay, Amber Dolor, Cornelius Bastion, and Sandrew.Silver Team, made up of Sonya Bishop, Kinzoku Mors, Averain, and Jasper SummersIron Team, made up of Alice Thornsberry, Emert Berger, Morgan Etiam Vinctum, and Doctor Pellinore WartropPlatinum Team, made up of Apollo, Lance Alburght, Varion Hain, Fairy, Aya Kozakura, Sairi KozakuraEach of the gates rumbled opened painfully and slowly, with a history of destruction and cruelty beyond their metal bars."Okay." Each captain spoke to the respective teams as they mounted their horses once again and steered back toward the road."You all have 5 minutes to greet your new teammates and enter the gates. The magical locks will automatically close them again after that point. There won't be any returning until you have something substantial to return with." The gist of each captain's parting words were. They had all rehearsed together so the information would be similar for each group. It also helped mask the fear. And then each group was left alone, each with a gate and a beaten dirt path beyond it sitting before them. It was time to start the introductions and get going. It was time to start the climb.Watching every gate through spectral projections, Adriev pondered. He stood in a pure white room with 5 others. After watching the four teams for a few moments he turned to his peers: Efenton, Girver, Dante, and Vortimer. Only one was missing."So..." He spoke slowly, weighing every word. "What shall we do about this?"

"Then no mercy it shall be!" Ryu retorted. He hated the thought that Adreiv could freely enter his mind and wanted to disrupt the connection. However, the connection gave away Adreiv's location and Ryu did not waste any time sensing where the source came from. Through his vibrations, he traced Adreiv's connection from Ryu's head to the very location of the source. Ryu then turned to the direction Adreiv was located.  "I'll come visit you after I deal with these three," Ryu said to himself.

The three Kaymn did not relent in coming to kill him. Ryu sense their bloodthirst and loyalty to their leader. Sadly, Ryu would have to defeat them. He spent years finding ways to counteract their abilities. Though he wasn't quite sure any of them would work. This was a perfect time to test his theories. The only one with the element of surprise was Adreiv himself, was Ryu's logic on the situation. Ryu stood on air in the direction of the three Kaymn and awaited their arrival.

Jasper

Jasper merely shrugged his shoulders when Varion ignored his question and went to threaten Tristan, "All right then, I guess we'll talk later." he said. He then heard one of the Kaymin tell them their break was almost over. [Great, he's probably gonna have us turn on each other.] he thought, and turned to Kinzuko. "Don't worry about your curse, just convince yourself you're the one in charge, and I'm sure you will be. And if on the off chance it does... I'll make sure you don't get yourself into too much trouble. Well, if I can, that is." he said. As much as he hated to admit it, he was growing rather fond of her cheery, can-do attitude.

Amber

Amber's heart began to race. What should she do? On one hand, she had no idea how to survive without her dark form, and it wasn't like she was that attached to these people to begin with. On the other hand, wouldn't choosing to better herself at the expense of others make her no different than her mother? Not sure what to do, Amber decided to wait, and see what the others chose to do.

(Sorry that I didn't post much,but I'll do what I can...)

Vortimer was standing at the cliff from top of Evraius, where the headquarters of Kamyn resides. As he looked down, where there will be an endless fall below,he look forward as he see a storm that was causing all over the place, and it was none other than Ryu."Forgive me,Adriev.....it is time for me to show my true form...."Vortimer said as he then, unexpectedly used his Saber to slightly cut his arm for internal bleeding. As he waiting where the full moon appeared,he began to jump to the endless abyss below from the top mountain, where there will be no survival.

"Bathe in the Illusion's blood, show your feelings of death and agony as the true reality....The form of the Raging Form!!"

As Vortimer fall down from the mountain, with a shocking truth; Vortimer have become a ferocious black dragon with a large Spectral Saber in his right hand and have a powerful forces on his other ones, where he began to fly upwards with his corrupted blue rings that helps him levitates and he began to roar with a powerful might that even the Kingdom, the Climbers, the Kamyns and of course, even the highest heavens could reach and hear this malevolent sound of despair.

"I am Duke, the Legendary Ancient Dragon of the Gods! The wrath of the Raging Form Dragon! Here I stand in the middle of heavens,I shall bring judgement upon the fallens, and shall not give them mercy!I will make them scream with chaotic silence!!"

Duke roared with his ferocious might as he fly towards the storm, bringing judgment to the fallen Kamyn,Ryu,with no mercy in hand...

While eating Tristan noticed the familiar voice of Adriev echoing through the air and took note of the Kamyn's word "(So break times coming to an end huh)" Reaching into the store room to grab a number of supplies such as food water and medical supplies Tristan stored them within the bag on his back. next grabbing some bandages Tristan tightly wrapped them around his right shoulder "(The first aid Fairy preformed should keep me covered to use my arm again but it's still probably smarter to keep this wrapped up for now)" Walking away from the store Tristan moved towards the spot where he had left his sword and took it up "Well you all heard it break times over guess it's time to get ready for another fight"

Drale looked around at the other members of his party, and started to laugh. "Well, I was hoping I wouldn't have to do this. Not yet, anyway. However, I have a suggestion. Either, we all try and step out, or you let me die." He said to everyone. "Now, before you start to complain, let me say this. I have a chance at coming back, unlike the rest of you. All I ask, is that after I have died, you open my pocket watch. That is all. Now, if you close the pocket watch, after I'm reborn, there's a chance that I'll come back." His voice took on a serious tone, "Now, Kaymn, let me say something to you. If I die, and if I'm reborn, you shall regret it. I haven't opened the pocket watch for a very good reason, and I was hoping that reason would last. Unfortunately, you have forced my hand. So, either I'm calling your bluff, or your life is in danger." With those final words, he took the watch out of his pocket, and handed it to Ferro. (Let us see what happens, shall we?)

Ferro~~~~~

Ferro took the watch from Drale. Clutching it in hand, he closed his eyes. "I'm stepping out." Putting the watch in his pocket, he grasped Birgitte. "Who will come with me?" He looked around, waiting for a response.

Varion:

Varion scowled, having to walk a few steps away. So now everyone in the two groups were under the assumption he was to be marrying Fairy. He didn't even know the girl until this mission. Even then, they had barely spoken. He couldn't deny, though, this she was cute. He just didn't want to be a star-crossed lover when the circumstances were less than pleasant. Especially now, when the Kaymn were readying some new challenge for them...

Emert:

They had little time, now. They had to choose the spy, and quickly.

Emert Berger looked at all three of the accused. One of them, apparently, was the enemy. A Vedik spy and a traitor to them all. Morgan, who had spoken little and was fairly enigmatic; The Doctor, whom Emert had a hunch was not against them; then the mysterious newcomer, Cathos, who was the most suspicious of them all.

"We have to come to a conclusion. Now. I don't have enough evidence to start choosing rashly. We must come to a decision as to who is the spy. All of you, make your decisions."

Fairy frowned. "I'm more worried about that other door over there we haven't opened. Something tells me we should." She walked over to the door."Now how to open it...is there a button...or maybe it needs magic...or yuck,blood..."She touched the door. "Come on...open!" She sighed."Well, someone help me!" She punched the door."Ow....I need to stop doing that...."

(The only issue is that Sandrew is uncomplicated again. Poor guy barely had enough energy to get back up, there's already no magic left to suck but the magic of life.)

(The only issue is that Sandrew is uncomplicated again. Poor guy barely had enough energy to get back up, there's already no magic left to suck but the magic of life.)

(I suppose you can't take life force from us, can you? Well, if we could speak to Adriev, Drale could ask him to let Sandrew off, as he can't say it himself.)

Cornelius gritted his teeth. Losing his powers was inconceivable. He needs them for his plan. But he still had an ace...

"No need for the heroic sacrifice." The Young Researcher put out. "Two step out, the others are just de-powered for a time, not forever."

He glanced around the party.

"Sandrew should be fine, even if he is running on empty. It might even give him a chance to recover more before he has to act. I...will survive without my powers for a short time. Since Drale seems alright with staying, that leaves Amber and Ferro stepping out. That does mean you two will need to keep us safe till we recharge. Up to you."

Amber

"I. um..." Amber said, still not sure what to do. Ferro stepped out, which didn't surprise her. All he wanted to do was get to the top of the mountain anyway. It wasn't like he started the mission with the rest of them. Sandrew, meanwhile, was too exhausted to do anything, and both Drale and Cornelius seemed willing to stay. She didn't want to get hurt, and she definitely didn't want to be powerless in the face of danger, but as far as she could tell, these were three good people she'd be condemning to almost certain death. Besides, thanks to her mother's past experiments, she had become used to feeling in pain and defenseless, that's how she was able to pretty much shrug off the pain of twisting her ankle earlier. Besides, she didn't really want be be left alone with Ferro. For whatever reason, he didn't come off as the most trustworthy of people in her eyes. "...I'm staying right here!" she finally said.

Jasper

"I wouldn't do that, if I were you." Jasper told Fairy, "Last time one of my teammates tried that, he nearly got himself killed. Besides, I don't think you can open that yet. I'm sure our charming host will open it for us once our minute's up."

"We don't have any more time to find who is the spy. And you rashly assume those named are the spies. It is highly probable that Andriev named those whonare not spies, just to cause such infightng. I have volunteered to die, and no one else has stepped forward. Take the blade and slay me; you can't let the Kamyn win."

"Well, from the looks of it, Sandrew is going to be the second one to step out. I'm not, Cornelius isn't, and Amber isn't. Ferro has already, so Sandrew has to drop out. Is it possible for him to drop out, even when he isn't conscious? Oh, and Ferro, can I have my watch back? It would seem I won't be dying anytime soon, and I'd rather keep the watch, for my own safety." Drale said, hoping Sandrew could drop out, and that Ferro would hand him his watch.

Arriving closer to Ryu's location, Griver looks out ahead of himself.  He sees a clump of clouds with lightning coursing through them.  Giving out a small chuckle, Griver thinks:  So Ryu is starting with that eh?  Then that means I'm getting closer to him.  Before going any further, Griver covered himself in a dark yellow case as a protective measure, then resumed heading forward.

As Duke draws into the storm where Ryu awaits,he met Griver along the way. Then,Duke immediately swings his Saber to cut through the storm in order to move on any further."Let us move forward....to annihilation!" Duke roared so loud that even the sound of those storm couldn't match with that sound of despair...

"Yes, and annihilation you shall come to.."

Ryu folded his arms as he watched the group descend from the storm. "So the lapdogs of Adreiv come to confront me?" Ryu smirked. He was in no way afraid of any other Kaymn and would make the first strike. However, he kept his arms folded and awaited their next course of action.

"Well hello gentlemen," Ryu started. "Care to chat for a few or get down to battle?

The choice is yours."

Edited by XxUtopiaxX

Arriving closer to Ryu, Griver meets up with Vortimer who seems to be in his dragon form Duke.  "Oh.  This will something huh?"  Finding Ryu, Griver hovers in place.  Putting his right hand on his chin, Griver replies:  "Hello 'Ryu'.  As a matter of fact, yes.  There are things I want to say a few things before we start."

Pausing for a second, he then says:  " I find it strange how matters came to what they are now.  Comrades who had the same goal in mind, but suddenly becoming enemies?  I expected this sort of betrayal manner from Vaefrius, but you, Ryu.  I thought you were a much better individual than that.  Almost makes me sad to fight you.  Part me wants to say:  'If you come back with us willingly, there'd be no trouble and all is forgiven.'  But I have the feeling you won't.  So let me ask you this:  Why?  Why did you make the decision to turn against us?  Why help humans, knowing what can happen if they reach the peak?"

All doors around the room locked.

"Look around you." Adriev's voice returned. "Who are your friends? Who are you foes? I offer you your next step in the journey to the top. The door before you leads to the first breadcrumb in a trail of information that explains more of the nature of Evraius than any human has ever known. You won't leave this mountain alive, so why not show you the truth? At the same time you humans and your fickle nature are amusing so let me put it in the form of a game. Five people will be allowed through the door. It will only open with four are unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise too badly damaged to make it through, thus leaving only 5 capable people left to advance. After five move through the door it will close, meaning there is no bringing those with you who you beat."

He gave a moment for the scenario to sink in.

"Think of it as a re-mixing of the teams. The winning 5 will be rewarded with something. The losing team left in the room will be transported to a trial that will be difficult to escape."

"So...." Adriev spoke calmly and malevolently. "Let the games begin."

A jolt of energy shot into Sandrew, bolting him awake. Adreiv's voice then reached him and only him. "Don't worry, Sandrew, I'm not letting you off yet. I want you to be awake to make this choice. Abandon your friends and rest, or endure more suffering and let them have less damage done to them. They want you to, they are telling you too. Who knows what you will face next. Will you get out, or will you stay? Everyone else seems to have made their choice. Now it's on you. You are the final choice. I can make this all end for you Sandrew, I can free you. Say the word."

"Such indecisiveness!" Adriev shouted out.

The sword moved on it's own now, jolting out of Emert's hand before blazing back towards him, aiming for his chest. He could take the blow himself, or someone else could but not it was no longer a choice of persecution... it was a choice of sacrifice....

... and if someone didn't chose to sacrifice themselves now, Emert was going to be it....

Edited by MDSVeritas

listening to Adriev's voice as he spoke Tristan instantly began to think over a possible solution "Only five can go through the door and those who remain shall be transported to a different harder trail for the door to open four people must be knocked out hum fairly speaking to help make sure everyone could survive a trail like this the best thing to do with be maybe take the two strongest people here and between the two have one of them knocked out atleast then we will know for sure that both teams will have a strong fighter on there side hum the main problem to decide beside them two you'd need to choose which side would be best to place our one medic on strategy wise it would be smarter to put her on the team with the easier route safer in the long run and better for going up against the Kamyn the longer you keep the medic alive the longer everyone else can stay alive hum its a difficult one and its also another plot by the kamyn to pit us all against each other again if best it may be smarter to ask alright I'll just ask besides me is anyone else willing to be one of the four who gets knocked out with me we just need three others any volunteers"

Efenton looked at him. "I..." He struck a battle stance. He was confused of his life... His father...

Varion:

So that was their challenge. Honestly, Varion was expecting worse. So as long as he didn't truly have to kill anyone--then his plans remained fine. They would just now have to either duke it out or find some other alternative to fighting. He sighed, glancing at Tristan, who already seemed to have an idea of what the two teams' course of action could be.

"Seems interesting, I suppose." He then glanced at Fairy.  Would she really be able to survive this..?

Emert:

His sword was wrenched out of his hand by some unseen, Kamyn-induced force. His weapon had betrayed him, and was making a sinister arc for his chest. Even Emert doubted that his thick armor could withstand a direct attack of his sword. That sword has sliced Vedik war machines to bits. His armor was but butter compared to that. And of course, who would save him? None of those assembled had any empathy for him. He was, after all, a stuffy no-nonsense Judge who carried the Law.

"Let it be done." Emert murmured, unsheathing the other half of his blade. If he could maybe deflect it...

... and if someone didn't chose to sacrifice themselves now, Emert was going to be it....

These words echoed in Sandrew's head heavily.

"Abandon them? But if I do that... I couldn't do that to them... I may be a coward, but I can't abandon people for myself... bedides, what use am I?"

That was his first thought.

"But if I step out, I have the best chance of living and being able to contenue on, no matter what happens to them. And if I step out, at least someone can protect them..."

His second.

He sightd, pulling out a little golden harmonica he kept on his person, a reminder of his mother who is now dead: she use to play it for money at bars, restraunts, on the street, it was their only real belonging left at that time. "Why is it that either way I'm useless...?" He mumbled to himslef, looking at Cornelius, then Drale, then Amber. "You guy's are staying because you want to, right? And if I don't leave, only Ferro will have any strength... I don't want to leave you all, I feel selfish and terrible, but if I don't, only one person will be here to protect all of us, and that's not good... I... I don't know... if I leave you, I'll feel guilty for causing you more harm, even though if I get out I could protect you all, but if I don't leave, Ferro might not have enough support..." He looked at the harmonica for a moment, he yes shaking with fear, pain, and exaustion. "I-I have to try and protect you all... Please, allow me out..."

"So, only five people can get through? Make that three. Me and Sairi are getting though here." Aya said with a smirk.

"Isn't that right, my brother?" she asked.

There was something...off about Aya. She wanted to be the one to get though that door, she wanted to be the one to win. With her brother, of course.

Sairi's voice could be heard, but his body was invisible.

"Yes." he said.

Aya started making duplicates of herself.

"Eeny, meeny, miny, moe, Catch a player before they go. If they run don't let them go. My brother won't let you get away...so you...are...it." Aya sung the little song, pointing her finger at others.

Her finger landed on Varion.

"You have been chosen for our little Scheme, Varion." Aya said with a smirk.

Sairi approached Varion from behind, kicking him in the back to push him down, and then reveling his body.

(Sairi has a bit of an advantage, so I will tone his invisibility down.)

Drawing his sword and pointing it towards Sairi's throat within the blink of an eye Tristan glared "You'd be wise to step back I may be an idiot when it comes to food but when i see someone attempting to force there decisions on others i get rather cut this whole situation isn't your little game to control if anything we should all be talking this out and coming up two teams that have an equal chance of surviving if my sword needs to taste some blood so that can happen so be it i wont hesitate to cut you in two"
