Well, I'm excited now. I'm guessing it'll be on Wii U, since DQ's almost always stuck with Nintendo (VIII is the only one not playable on a Nintendo system, and VII and VIII were the only ones not originally released for Nintendo systems), and I remember hearing about them having a partnership or something.

Hopefully it won't be an MMO like Dragon Quest X and hopefully it won't be Japan exclusive

There's no word on DQVII 3D being released outside Japan, unfortunately. Also, I highly doubt that this is just going to be another MMO, since DQX didn't sell nearly as well as the other DQ games. I also get a feeling it will at least be released in North America, since Reggie said he'd like to see more DQ games in the region.

Yeah, I'm really hoping they'll do that soon. I'd much rather play it on the go with my 3DS than get the PS1 disc.

I've never heard that before. : I can only think of two DQ games ever being released on PlayStation, and none on Xbox. I doubt they'll change their usual Nintendo thing this time.

Dragon Quest X didn't sell as well as the others? Well it an MMO. What did you honestly expect? FFXIV: A Realm Reborn has sold just over two million not including digital. Clearly their worst sales since XI and IV. But it was still considered a massive success then and now.

Well that is correct, but it's pointless comparing the sales of an MMO (that's exclusive to Japan) to that of single-player games.
