Sword Art Online II confirmation on a most circulated newspaper in Japan.

They really got the word out big for Sword Art Online II.

The only new people so far who I've seen use Kirito avatars (Aside from people who already did) are myself and Crona. ._.

From what I read on article, I think the author wanted 2 female heroines in the SAO universe, I don't remember the details all that much though.

They look really nice. Kirito's gonna take some time getting used to, though.

 

Also, this is off-topic, but that new manga series mentioned in that article sounds interesting, and I liked the art style and Asuna's new design. I hope that comes to the West, too. I'd love to read it, since I hated the original manga for SAO.

He's the SAO version of Haku, pretty much. From what I've heard, it's a super rare avatar.

From what I heard, it was randomized like his Alfheim one was. He didn't choose it, I'm sure he would've chosen something that fit him better otherwise.

Looks like we get some more character design art. I forget if we saw Asuna already or not, I'm liking her new design though. Kirito looks as cool as ever, and the new girl, Sinon, also looks pretty cool. Can't wait to see her in action!

Oh geez, I'm so late on this one... Sorry guys... But we've got some HUGE news!

 

Sword Art Online II will air THIS JULY! It will be shown worldwide, but we have no clue where they'll be streaming it outside Japan, as far as I know. I'd assume the US will have Crunchyroll, but there's no way to be sure.

Are you frickin kidding me!?  I'm so psyched up for this!!!  I knew that Gungale would be made into an anime, it was all just a matter of time!  And given SAO's success, we, the fans, can rest easy knowing that Gungale is now going to be an anime!  When I saw the name of the thread having a II in it, well, I knew this had to be Gungale.  I am so happy now!  Bring on Gungale!

i'm still curious about one thing though is it just the Gun Gales Online arc we're getting or is Mother Rosario being put in there with it to give us 25 episodes like how we got 25 episodes last time with the Aincrad Arc and Elfheim Arcs together
