I was very happy to get a very positive reaction when we announced LittleBigPlanet 3. We are concerned a little bit when we work on a game like LittleBigPlanet 3, about how people will react, because people want those big-budget, realistic, military shooters. But there were lots of cheers, a lot of affection.

And the reaction to Nintendo's games in general, or a game like Splatoon. If you look at the whole industry, and you consider Nintendo, I think the balance is actually better than past years.

I really like it when the presidents of these companies actually support each other instead of bringing each other down. Sony's president actually seems to be the best about it. It's a shame that the fanboys will be jerks to Nintendo or Microsoft for being different, which isn't what the guy wants at all...

This is true. Some Xbox fanboys are pretty bad. Things like "Drop a Titan" or "I won't buy Destiny because of the PS exclusive content"

Sony and Microsoft both have their share of jerks in their fanbase, same goes for PC gamers. I've seen a few Nintendo fanboys try to troll out other people, but it's typically just funny to watch them try. Sony fanboys can be just as bad as Nintendo fanboys, though. I've had people act like I'm delusional for picking Wii U over a PS4 at the moment, then try to convert me.

I had someone call me a "pathetic excuse for a gamer" because I owned a Wii U. Now I game on every platform bar the Xbox line, but no it was because I owned one system I apparently lost my gamer card. Some people never fail to amuse me. I see no reason owning a PS4 over a Wii U at the moment, you are right to have picked the Wii U because it's a great system.
