Posted August 29, 201411 yr So in any video games you played have you ever done any sort of restrictions to make the game feel more challenging than normal?
August 29, 201411 yr I try to beat JRPG's on the lowest level I possibly can. Example chaos mode on Star Ocean Last Hope on level 64.
August 29, 201411 yr In Super Mario 3D world because I knew the game would be easy, I never used the powerup reserve though my entire 1st playthough, including the bonus worlds. I've done the infamous Zelda 3 hearts run in: Ocarina of Time Minish Cap Majora's Mask Wind Waker(And WW HD's hero mode in a minimal run without using Z-targing to lock-on enemies, except for the final boss, because I don't think you can beat him without locking-on to him) Twilight Princess Phantom Houglass Spirit Tracks and since you start Skyward Sword with 6 hearts for some reason,I beat Skyward Sword with 6 hearts, but it wasn't on hero mode,so I'll have to do it on hero mode someday With a cheat code in Super Mario Galaxy(1 or 2 I don't remember which one it was) I limited my health to 1 HP and I was still able to beat it,but it was challenging I'll admit it. I'm currently trying to beat A Link To The Past in a minimal run since you can't do the 3 hearts run in that game, meaning that I can't obtain any items that's not mandatory to beat the game like the boomerang, heart pieces, empty bottles etc,but I'm currently stock at the dark world's dungeon 6 boss,he's VERY difficult.
August 29, 201411 yr Beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania in legendary difficulty, under epic match settings, in a No DQ match with no finishers allowed whilst Undertaker has infinite finishers.
August 29, 201411 yr I played Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus on Maniac. Auto-Insta-kill so I have no meter for the match against bots. I still suck against real humans though
August 30, 201411 yr I just beat Ocarina of Time with 3 hearts for the first time, that was neat. And in Castlevania Portrait of ruin, I've been playing only Jonathan with nothing but knife or fist weapons. I'm stuck at Dracula, haha. Edited August 30, 201411 yr by JBone
August 30, 201411 yr Normally, just playing on the hardest difficulty in video games is enough for me.
