Could the Realm of Darkness be connected to Destiny Islands?

Posted

KH1 Destiny Islands is "destroyed" and we're transported to a dark realm :l

KH2 How did Kairi's letter make it to the Realm of Darkness on its own?

KH3 Somehow Master Eraqus' Keyblade is on Destiny Islands. P.s. how could she have sent it and protected herself in the darkness, assuming she is still fighting. Has she been captured by Master Xehanort? Along with Ansem the Wise? Last Vessel?

In KH1 Destiny Islands was simply swallowed by the darkness where it stayed in a state of sleep. The idea was to gather all the hearts of the world in one place to.form Kingdom Hearts. In KH2 Kairi's letter reached Sora and Riku via the Dark Margin which acts as the border of the Realm Between. In every world there is presumably a point in which it crosses into the Realm Between which in turn allows access to other worlds within the Realm of Light and the Realm of Darkness. This is probably one of the possible methods Xehanort used to escape Destiny Islands. The letter traveled the ocean until it reached the border of the realm between resulting in the KH2 ending. The KHIII teaser is just a beta trailer and is merely symbolic it's not canon.

This exactly! Plus i really wish people would finally get the trailer was symbolic and not canon  and was suppose to remind us of the current story as Nomura said .It still gets brought up constantly .

^ This, the funny thing is that would mean all worlds in KH are actually flat.
