September 19, 201411 yr yeeeees, love that theme. I used to main deadpool in mvc3. Part of the reason why I played it was for moi. It'd be Deadpool, Zero, and Dante or Spider-Man.
September 19, 201411 yr I've been waiting for this news for about 5 years now. And it feels sooo good. I'm probably gonna get yelled at because of this but... What's so great about Deadpool? First, mix in the bad-a trait of bad boy heroes (or anti-heroes) to do what ever they want. Second, a healing factor that is actually suppose to be a little better then Wolverine's. Third, throw in the fighting skills that allow him to go toe to toe with Captain America and hold is own for a bit (healing factor did help there). And fourth, realize that it has been said that "...Robin Williams (RIP) on 50 gallons of Starbucks has more control of mind, body, and bladder then Wade (Deadpool) does." Deadpool is fun because he is the hyperactive kid with the motor mouth given military weapons and made almost immortal. Finally, there is actually some depth to the character emotionally. In his original solo comic, he tried to go hero when he was told by a precog that he would save the world. After psyching himself up for the part, he was crushed to learn that the way he was going to save the world was killing something. He keeps trying to be a hero, but his own twisted soul and past keep bogging him down. Man, that was quite a "fanboying" there, if I do say so myself. Edited September 19, 201411 yr by rikunobodyxiii
September 19, 201411 yr Will he be played by the same person from Origins? Most likely, though no confirmation yet.
September 19, 201411 yr Will he be played by the same person from Origins? Yeah, he really wants the part. Sure, the Origins DP kinda sucked but after seeing that leaked test footage I know he's an acceptable choice for Deadpool. I've been waiting for this news for about 5 years now. If there's anything that pulls me into the series, it's the depth to his character beyond the humor everyone praises him for. I seriously love the current series, it's the perfect balance between serious and funny and other characters are starting to respect Deadpool more too, and he also has more friends now and it's great to see Deadpool have more people by his side.

I'm just hoping Fox factors that into the movie.

September 20, 201411 yr I enjoyed him in Origins before they firetrucked him over. aye. The portrayal of Wade Wilson at the beginning of the movie was quite good.
September 26, 201411 yr Now, to contemplate about whether it will be "red and witty" Deadpool, or "I shoot lasers out of my eyes and have no mouth" Deadpool....
September 26, 201411 yr Now, to contemplate about whether it will be "red and witty" Deadpool, or "I shoot lasers out of my eyes and have no mouth" Deadpool.... Based on comments of the movie's crew in the past and the test footage leaked, we're looking at a classic Deadpool.
