I mean all the females in Naruto are some garbage except for Sakura, Hinata, and Chiyo.

Hinata is the best, lol. Sakura is second. 

Looking at things on a serious way, Sakura ain't that half bad actually

 

People tend to hate her for various reasons, but in my personal opinion, I think she's an okay character.

In terms of combat, she's somebody you don't want to mess with (despite the fact that she's an almost exact copy of Tsunade, with her own variations here and there).

In terms of personality, that's where she's okayish. I don't dislike her, but I don't like her at the same time. She's neutral to me

so exited!!!

Sakura is amazing! The series wouldn't be nearly as good without her.

That's not generalizing at all. If I was a so called "sakura-hater" it would be more because of her character not because she is useless. No one can really say she never helped out. That being said i'd like to clarify that I don't hate her.

Newest chapter in a nutshell, Naruto and Sasuke talk... and that's it. Best synopsis ever.

 

Okay, in actuality, there's a lot more going on then just that... sort of. Just let me explain: Yes, the majority of the chapter is just Naruto and Sasuke talking. Sasuke said last week that he was going to explain his definition of Hokage. Basically, his definition of being Hokage is not caring too much about others and becoming the "darkness" of the world, or I guess the village he would control, and eliminating all previous darkness and establishing order. In a way, he wants to become Danzo, but unlike Danzo, he does not seek power just for the sake of having power, he wants power to maintain peace and order. Again, this chapter is mostly just talk, with Naruto and Sasuke battling back and forth with one another on philosophies; Sasuke brings up Itachi and how he should have been Hokage because he shouldered all his burdens by himself, and Naruto argues back that Itachi believed (at least after he died) that shouldering burdens by yourself isn't the way to go and that relying on others is much better. There's also a lot of other points that we've known about these characters already, but two more things I want to bring up: one, we get a shot of Hagoromo, Sakura, and Kakashi basically to confirm that they won't be doing much and the focus of the narrative will most definitely be on Naruto and Sasuke for the coming chapters, and two, we get to see more insight into the conversation that Sasuke had with Hagoromo. He's basically saying what he already told Naruto in the present, however, the one bit that caught my eye is that he told Hagoromo that Naruto was the closest thing he ever had for a best friend, and I have to admit, I really liked that bit. Anyways, I know I raved on last week that I wanted to see the start of the fight, and you know, I did. At the very end, the fight starts, and that's good enough for me. Besides, if you think about it, this is great: we get this talking part of the battle out of the way before the battle starts so that there's more time for just plain action and more time to talk later on.

 

First of all, BEST OPENING EVER!

 

 

also, spoilers everywhere once again. You can see snippets of animated scenes of some chapters from 647 up to 662. The way the opening ended abruptly and with a certain character made my heart stop for a moment.

 

I also love the ending as well. That's how the ending should be in my opinion. The song is mellow and bit uplifting. I find it interesting because it tries to cheer us up during the harshness of the episodes we go through. We probably get a new ending somewhere in Mid-December.

i expected the action to start, but at least we have the talking out of the way. I thought it was sad when sasuke said naruto was the closest he had to a best friend, which is why he had to kill him. Liked how he still cared about his friend.

 

And hyped for the fight. Usual stuff.

Well... its happening. And it's happening next month.

 

Yes. Five weeks. That's all we have left for the Naruto manga. It's been a trip, man, I have to admit. Naruto is my favorite anime/manga, next to DragonBall, after all. I started off watching the first anime on Toonami, and after that ended, it wasn't until about three years ago that I got back into it, and I've been following it consistently then. It's gonna feel weird knowing that in five weeks, I won't be able to expect a new chapter of the manga, nor a new episode of Shippuden (at least, when Shippuden ends probably some time around next year.)

 

I can honestly say, without a doubt in my mind, no matter how many people may praise or absolutely despise Naruto, that this series will always hold a special place in my heart. I've learned a lot from watching and reading it, no lie, and it'll be sad when the manga, the original story, has to draw to a close. It's been an incredible journey, one full of action, adventure, happiness, sadness, and whole lot of ninjas. But its time that the book finally closes on the Tale of Naruto Uzumaki...

Wow. . . I can't believe it. The manga is reaching to its conclusion. Dang. . . I had an on and off relationship since 2008 when I was introduced to Naruto, and thanks to the Naruto fans of KH13, I was able to rekindle my connection to the Naruto series. And lasted all the way to now. I hope the outcome of the final fight goes out with a bang, and hopefully, The Last will serve as an epilogue.

 

You know what's sad? after all of this is over, what will we fill our empty selves with? We looked forward to a new Naruto chapter every week, and as it draws to a close, it makes it hard to not look forward to any manga other than Naruto. The only hope I can look forward is TG's author's new manga that is coming out on Oct. 16.  Other than that, I'm in grief. But all good things must come to an end. 

 

Still, that won't prevent me from curling up on the floor to cry for the ending like I did in TG manga, but I will save that for the last chapter of the Naruto manga. Until then, I'm gonna enjoy every damn moment and panel Kishimoto will offer us until the day comes where Naruto manga ends.

Well, i only got into the series about 10 months ago, im surprised it's been this long and its about to end. Sad, but all good things come to an end eventually. It's almost over.

It not might be Kishi's decision. Shueisha, the company that publishes the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, might have decided it. They're Kishimoto's boss after all.

Shonen Jump released a raw scan of chapter 694 which is in FULL COLOR. It is in Japanese, but I have to admit. I like the simplicity of the coloring in this version than Colorkage's versions.

 

Since these are official scans in full color, we can confirmed colors of certain attributes of the characters and the scenery of the battlefield. 

 

Again, they are in Japanese, but check em out anyways. It's a nice change of pace rather than the colorkage's intensive coloring.

also, I found something interesting about episode 345. The gruesome battle scene near the end of the episode had some censorships. As I said before with Japan's TV broadcasting of TG, any instances of gore and nudity are censored. I knew something was missing in that episode, and this guy who made the thread about it on Narutobase talks about it since he has the DVD version of it. Check out this thread if you want to compare them. There's no video. Just some pictures.
