In 2004 an made film about catwoman (one of the bat man bay guys) but the film has no connection to bat man, got a 7% on rotten tomatoes ,and is one of the worst films of all time.now Disney is making (WITHOUT MARVEL)a film call big hero six and the looks of the traiers it also has no connection to it comic book.

If Disney owns Marvel, how are they doing it without Marvel?

Anyways, first of all...the movie isn't getting made about a villain and getting ripped out of continuity, but of a whole team.So even if the rip a whole team out of continuity they have more to work with.Second, chances are they won't make a weird ancient prophecy origin story.If anything you have to worry about it being some over used kid's film plot with a new coat of paint. But if you like that coat of paint, it could still be a fun movie.

I see a cool looking protagonist with a great VA and a funny balloon guy, with a cast of characters I give no crap about!

Catwoman had more problems than just not being true to the source material. Big Hero 6 could be a good film, even if it doesn't necessarily reference the comic overmuch.
