THE CHARACTERS

 

When it comes to characters, both MARVEL and DC have very different approaches when it comes to their origins and powers. With DC, you got larger-than-life god-like superhumans, with MARVEL you get normal people who gain their powers through tragic circumstances and events and learn how to use their abilities through ongoing stories.

Another reason I like MARVEL more than DC is because of the costumes and superpowers. To me, I think MARVEL has more interesting and fewer superpowers than the god-like characters of DC.

Like I mentioned in my first reason, I like MARVEL more than DC because their characters aren't born with their powers, they have to earn their abilities and use them responsibly. Some characters go through certain events that make them use their powers not-so-responsibly.

See, and I prefer DC for exactly the opposite of the reasons you posted, so there you go.

Marvel is so much better now.

This is very true. I always hate on Superman. He's just so overpowered as well. 

DC has the better comics IMO, but that's purely subjective opinion. Objectively, Mavel is making less emo and more colorful movies while DC can't seem to shake off the boring monochromatic greys to make their movies more "realistic".

I don't know much about either, but I support Marvel far more since they do way more to be diverse with sexual orientations, PoC, and so on. I know that might seem like bias to some, but they are legit reasons for praising a company over another. DC seems to nearly outright ignore the diversity, and seem a lot like Cartoon Network in the sense of wanting to grow along side the changing landscape of social things and accepting girls/women can like these things too ,etc,. 

To me, I think MARVEL has more interesting and fewer superpowers than the god-like characters of DC.

 

What do you even mean by that? Characters like Galactus? Or characters with reality warping powers in general?
