I'm thinking of getting Sleeping Dogs, anyone got some thoughts? And also, which version? PS3 or PS4?

uh.... do you mean Sleeping Dogs or Watch_Dogs? Two different games... Sleeping dogs is basically GTA in China and a focus on Kung-fu and parkhour and less on guns... It is pretty cool and a much more fluid and battle oriented GTA, but it is a GTA clone... you still steal cars and do GTA type stuff. Watch_Dogs on the other-hand is a Hacker oriented GTA... and not really that good hacking. I'm not getting Watch_dogs, so I still think you should get Sleeping Dogs.

Actually it was quite popular. Atleast I heard alot about it even though I wasn't interested in it. It received quite alot of positive reviews too.

 

PS: I'm pretty sure he's a guy btw.

Last time i checked there was demo for the ps3 version on psn. It was pretty fun from what i remember.

Sleeping Dogs was a pretty good game I thought. Definitely flew under the radar when it came out on PS3/360/PC. It's worth playing if you're curious, though I'm not sure if you'd be better off picking up a PS3 copy on the cheap or picking up a definitive version on PS4 and just taking a chance on liking it.

 

That said, if you picked it up on PS3 and did like it then you'd might be inclined to play the DLC that is included in the definitive version...

It's pretty decent for an open-world sandbox GTA clone. It's probably the best out of the True Crime games, so if you like GTA you'd probably like it too.

i found it to be pretty fun. It was definently under the radar and the story was pretty good too

I have played the PS3 version of Sleeping Dogs which was free on PS Plus once. I absolutely loved it! I would definitely recommend Definitive Edition if you have a PS4 already otherwise just get it for PS3.

I loved the game. The stereotypical Asian stuff, open world gameplay and the gripping storyline made that game the best thing I have ever downloaded from the Free Games for Gold on xbox.
