And all you have to do to have him in Smash is spend hundreds of dollars on another console and buy another version of the game! Don't have that console yet? Well ya better get it now or else you won't have jackshit! And don't worry, you have all the time in the world! We're not gonna be finished with this model until next year because, yes, we need spend months upon months of developing this great character who is basically a downgraded version of a character who we already have on the roster!!!

You people DO realize it's probably going to be paid DLC a while after it's given out for free to those of us who actually love the game enough to buy both versions, right? Not to mention that it's not THAT bad to get a Wii U. People act like this crap is the end of the world, I swear. -_- Either way, I'm really freaking happy Mewtwo's striking back.

Lucario was based off of Mewtwo. I'm getting sick of people calling Mewtwo a clone, or a weak Lucario. Also, this is for the dedicated fans who already have both consoles, or plan to get both. Look, I'm just concerned. From what we've been told, this is going to be an exclusive for those who have both consoles and who have both versions of the game. But, this could just be for the time being. Maybe after the games are already out and by the time the character is finished, the DLC will be available to those who don't have one or the other, lets say, one week after it's released. Just one week. That's perfectly fine.

 

Buuuut, what if that's not the case and this is something that only the "hardcore" fans can have and those who still haven't been able to buy either console for their own reasons have to suffer because of that?? Don't you think that's a little bit on the shady side? I mean, why should I be punished just because I only want one of their consoles and not both?

 

And bear in mind, I'm not saying this because I believe not having one extra character for the game is going to hamper my experience, just like I didn't believe that Ubisoft dumbing down their new AC game to 900p on PS4 and Xbox One was a bad thing because I love the shit out of graphics. It's just the principle I have an issue with because for me, it might go south, and I don't think that would be fair if it does.

It's probably going to take longer than a week, but I'd be surprised if it was never made available to the general public. Nintendo doesn't screw over specific groups of people when it comes to this type of thing.

It's probably only going to be like, what, five dollars at most, maybe even cheaper, but still. That would mean, for me at least, I would need to scrounge up enough money for both the Wii U and the game, which will cost me a lot at best, but then I'll need more just to have the one new character. I already said that it doesn't matter, and while it doesn't... you know me, I go nuts over this type of deal and it's gonna bug me forever until I actually get it. I just don't want to have to go through the stress. Especially if I see that other people are using the hell out of the character online while I can't.

 

Also, while I do agree, there are some games for the 3DS I do like, I still don't really want to buy one. Whether or not that will change in the future is up in the air, but that's not the point.

You're kind of contradicting yourself here. You say it's unfair to have to pay for both versions to get it, but you're also saying it's unfair to pay 5 bucks for it? In that case, what is fair?

The first statement is for those who do not have the 3DS or Wii U and have to spend extra money on getting another console and another version of Smash to have the one character.

 

The second statement is for me personally who thinks that just because I don't have the two consoles or games like the others that I have to pay extra while others can have it for free because they spent an ass load of extra money.

 

Neither are fair in my opinion
