What is your #1 console game of the past generation?

And yes, this includes ports and remakes. So titles like Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX can be included.

Featured Replies

hmmmm probably between batman arkham city , kingdom hearts 1.5 hd remix and sonic unleashed

Since you said you can include Kingdom Hearts 1.5, my #1 is 1.5 (until 2.5 comes out ;) )

(Aside from 1.5 Remix of course) Fallout 3. It's one of the best games ever IMO.

Honorable mentions: Red Dead Redemption, God of War 3, Modern Warfare 2, DBZ Budokai 3, Halo 3, Outlast...

Infamous 2. Say what you will about deep meaningful storylines or whipsmart dialogue, but few games are ever as fun to play as Infamous games. Plus, this one's got some heavy stuff going on.

Too many to count. But if I had to choose my top best, then I would have to say...:

Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 ReMIX

Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 ReMIX (I can already tell it'll be my favorite)

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG (2006) (It got me into the series, what can I say?)

Sonic Unleashed (REALLY got me into the series)

Sonic Generations (Made me wish for more)

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep (Such an easy game to obsess over)

Dissidia Final Fantasy (and Duodecium)

Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core

Super Smash Bros Brawl (not nearly enough Sonic love in the series though... T.T)

Uncharted series

Metal Gear HD collection (still in the process of MGS4 though)

Anything else I forgot to add I guess I'll just come back and edit it later.  :3

Sorry, not handhelds.

Budokai 3 was PS2.

Budokai 3 was PS2.

If you meant PS3, then the Budokai HD Collection counts.

Yeah, but you didn't say that.

Yeah, but you didn't say that.

I did now. It's included in the HD collection anyway. So technically, I am right.

Sorry, not handhelds.

Budokai 3 was PS2.

Well scratch out all of the handhelds then if you must, but PSP was still the past generation, so to me it still counts.

Unless you count each portable console a demi-generation (the PSP being 6.5 maybe?), which I guess is technically true. Seriously, has no one else noticed that they are usually released about halfway through each home console's life cycle, or at least half way through the generation? It's weird. :P

It can count to you fine, just for this topic we're only doing console games. PS3, 360 & Wii.
