On this day in Kingdom Hearts history:

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories was released in Japan.

Happy 10th anniversary!

The game that is so awesome yet it gets so much hate. Especially the PS2 version.

Still one of my favourite games for the GBA. It's a truly underrated game in the series that's for sure. The battle system and the story were great imo.

Less people played the remake.

Oh but the remake is sooooooooo much better.

Well it is a remake. There'd be something wrong if it wasn't. And less people have played it since the PS2 version was exclusive to Japan & North America.

Considering it was on PS2 the highest selling console ever, it should have sold more. Though it was a late life title.

It would help if they actually released it everywhere.

No doubt, but still sold less in Japan and America.

That's North America. Pretty sure South America didn't get it. Well of course, PS2 software sales were declining. Just like PS3 right now.

That's because PS3 was already out. And KH always sells best in North America.

Of course, came out two years prior. More people, that's why.

Actually all except BBS sold better in North America and I think that's cause PSP's weren't popular here.

Nah, they weren't. They did pretty poorly. Held the PSP back.

Still even though PSP wasn't popular BBS had decent sales which is surprising.

Once again, it should have been available worldwide.

I agree completely. It would have sold more and more people could have enjoyed it. But square logic is...... bad sometimes. Lol.
