Is for Riku and Kairi's relationship to shine and bloom. I always see people say "Riku cares just as much for Kairi" "Kairi loves Riku too" and whatnot. But I'm just not buying it. Thoughout the whole game, there are hardly ANY Riku and Kairi moments, yeah I know there's some but compared to sora and riku or sora and kairi moments it's like a puddle compared to a waterfall.

 

I want them to interact, I want them To have some drama. I want them to seem like friends if not best friends. I don't want them to seem just like two people Who hangs out together for the sake of someone else. because that is sure as hell what it looks now.

 

Sora and Riku's relationship is prolly the best developed relationship in the game, Sora and Kairi could be right behind, but Riku and Kairi? Nah no way, not at all unless u sugar coat and ignore canon. Annnnnd when u develop their 'friendship' Kairi also gets development as well.

 

So in short, Riku and Kairi's 'friendship' development. Whatcha guys have to say?

Kairi and Riku don't have scenes that show their friendship....well ok we will just ignore these then

Yeah if you ignore these scenes it would seem like Riku and Kairi are not friends but when you look at these it shows that they are friends!

That's... tenuous, at best

It shows some level of relationship, yeah, but all in generic acts of kindness. There's no personality or depth to it, really

and I'mm gonna be fair here, too, Sora dn Kairi don't have that either. It's a common trap, depicting romance or friendship not by chemistry, shared interests, or something like that, but through the bold actions they perform. We know Riku is friends with Kairi because he saved Kairi? Sora commits random acts of kindness in all sorts of worlds, a good deed simply isn't enough

I want to see these so called 'friends' actually do friend stuff. I want Riku and Kairi to team up and mock Sora, I want Sora and Kairi to turn out to have a similar passion for seashell related arts and crafts. I want to know WHY they are friends, WHY they fight to hard for each other, not just said fighting
