I actually find that I can find a lot of enjoyment in each of the titles in the series. Yes even 2006. :P

Although I have to admit Lost World was probably the only game I don't like as much as the others. That said, I still enjoy it somewhat, just not a whole lot. Yes, I actually enjoy 2006 more than Lost World. xP

Sonic Boom, from what little I've seen, still looks interesting to me, particularly the Wii U version, which is ironic since most "die hard fans" are saying that the 3D version seems like the better investment, purely because it's a 2D platformer. I guess they view it as the "safer" option compared to the radically different Wii U version, but at least the Wii U version takes the most chances and doesn't look as boring. :P

But yeah, if you wanted to summarize the "average" Sonic fan that you're most likely to come across, I guess this vine captures that pretty well. Results may vary though. xP

So basically as long as it has the name Sonic on the cover it'll be automatically good?

Shadow The Hedgehog....I have that on PS2....could never bring myself to finish it.

Where, in ANY part of what I said, did it suggest that I think that? If I like any Sonic game that other gamers don't care much for, that's my own business. I'd appreciate it if you didn't make up random stuff when I don't even say anything remotely resembling that.

PS. I do like Shadow the Hedgehog to a degree for my own reasons. Not purely because it was a Sonic title. It was just one of the first few Sonic games I got to play and it grew on me, that's all. Stop trying to read so deeply into everything.

No, there's no way anybody could have interpreted it that way. I was just saying that I like the games. Explain it to me. Explain to me just how you could even interpret it like that. Because it doesn't even make sense. Did I flat out say that "every Sonic game was good and everybody is just being mean"? No. I simply stated that I have a fondness for particular games that most fans wouldn't care for.

"in each of the titles in the series" sometimes can be interpreted as "every" or "all"

But what part of any of that suggested "every game in the series IS GREAT"? I said that "I find enjoyment in almost every game in the series", not "every game in the series is great". Sonic 2006 by definition is NOT a good game, because of how unfinished it was and how many problems it can cause. That being said, I can still enjoy it to some extent as it is somewhat playable (half of the time). Just because I find enjoyment in something doesn't mean that I believe that it is for all intents and purposes a good game. I'm enjoying Sonic Boom so far despite the fact that I'm finding a few issues here and there. You've got the wrong impression that just because somebody likes something that they think it's the best thing ever and nothing else. I don't think there is such a thing as "the perfect Sonic game", but I do think it is possible to find certain things or "aspects" to enjoy with each title. I don't like Secret Rings and Lost World all that much, but there are still things about the games that I like. Do you understand NOW?

Yeah,sorry

Yeah,sorry

It's alright, just try not to look too deeply into some things that people say sometimes, ok?
