The only way I can see him being a Light is if one of those seven are not, which would surprise me. The only one I can see not being a Light would be Sora, and that would mostly be done in the way of a twist where it's revealed that Sora has been chosen by Kingdom Hearts itself or whatever to attain its knowledge or some crap.

But as shown by Blank Points, Terra still exists independent of Xehanort within his body. And according to both that and the end of Re:Coded, he is one of the people Sora has to save. And in 3D Riku gains the power to enter other peoples hearts. I believe this means that at some point during KH III, Sora, with Riku's help, and probably Ven's and Aqua's too, will free Terra from Xehanorts influence, obviously before the end because Master Xehanort will be the final boss. Of course since Mickey, Sora, Riku, Kairi, Terra, Aqua and Lea will all be active by the final battle, and possibly even Roxas, Xion, Namine and Vanitas too (the first two being most likely and the last one begin least likely) it'll be hard to tell exactly which one are GoL unless explicitly stated. Then Theres Data Sora, even less likely than Vanitas bun still not totally impossibly (after all, we've seen that object made of data can be transported to the physical world). But I don't think Lea is one for one simple reason. He's not exactly a "team player". While he's undoubtedly more loyal to Sora than he was to Xemnas, I think he'll remain a solo act. Helping out where he can but not actually being part of the GoL.This is a war, and wars need intelligence agents (spies) I think that's what Lea will be doing, keeping tabs on the SoD's movements (but not directly interacting with them like a double-agent would) and then relaying the information to Yen-Sid, who will then give it to Sora and the others.

 

But why is fifth? Shouldn't the first three be Sora, Riku and Mickey, in that order, since they're the most important to the story?But if you're going in order of when they got Keyblades, then Sora and Riku should be swapped.

In my opinion I think the seven lights are Sora, Mickey, Riku, Aqua, Ventus, Roxas, and Lea. But honestly I really don't care who are the seven lights are because all I want is to see Young Xehanort and Vanitas and the rest of Xehanort's 13 darkness again in Kingdom Hearts 3.

if lea isnt the seventh there should still be an epic battle between him and isa that either kills him, kills isa, kills boulth of them or just saves isa

Of course he isn't. Xehanort himself said that one of the Lights Mickey had counted (Terra) is part of his Darknesses.

That's what I said. If he isn't, it'd be a huge twist in the game and his actual role would be a 'Chosen One' type thing where he'd enter Kingdom Hearts and ascend beyond humanity or whatever, like Xehanort detailed in his Reports.

I agree i think he's one of the13. The 7 have kind of been confirmed, but KH has been known to throw curveballs.

it's not 100% official, but I mean the 7 Guardians of Light have basically been confirmed.
