Game Freak, the developers behind the incredibly popularPokemon series and also HarmoKnight, have told Japanese publication 4Gamer that they’re readying the announcement of their next game. The company is excited about their next project and hope that it’s well received by the fans. Here’s what Tetsuya Watanabe, who is one of the senior programmers of Game Freak, had to say.

 

 

 

“We’re doing a lot of different things with respect to our next project, so right now we’re focusing on getting ready to announce it. We sincerely hope from the bottom of our hearts that it’ll be worth checking out once we get to that point.”

It's quite possible. Because I don't think GameFreak woukld announce a new main titl Pokemon game this early.

Technically ORAS is a 6th Gen Pokemon game so 6th gen was around for two years pretty much the same duration of Gen 5

 

Most likely it's gonna be Pokken Fighters and maybe Pokemon Z(doubt that but maybe)

 

 

Or if we're lucky I wish they'd make Pokemon Stadium 3,that would be awesome especially for the competitive scene ^_^

I bet it's something not Pokken Fighters or Main Title. It's a new project to reveal. Why do they need to hope their reveal is received well when Pokken Fighters (an already revealed and well-known title) already went well for everyone and a main title games always goes well?

I for one would like to see a Pokemon game like Colosseum or Gale of Darkness for Wii U, or maybe something like Stadium.

I'm guessing its a main title game for Pokémon. I remember them saying almost the same thing before countless of times in different ways, yet it always appears to be a main game.

Can't wait to see though.

Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be good. Gamefreak is my absolute favorite developer, and they haven't let me down yet.

Won't be surprised if it was another crossover with Koei Tecmo

 

Pokemon Conquest(that was made by Koei Tecmo btw) and Hyrule Warriors were very well recieved so I won't be surprised if it was a sequel to Pokemon Conquest but with a Dynasty Warriors gameplay

 

Then again that's just my speculation.

They've literally released one Pokemon game a year since Platinum so I wouldn't put it past them. lol

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (Specifically the Explorers games) will always be my favorite, but Conquest is probably second place for me. It was amazing. I still need to complete all of the additional stories.
