Posted January 18, 201510 yr ...he knows the boy has chances of defeating him and his team (of course, not all by himself, or else, he would be doomed), so that's why he made him fail the exam and, for that, decided to make him his 13th vessel, right?
January 18, 201510 yr That's possible... Though it was heavily implied that because they couldn't make Riku fall into Darkness, Sora was their next bet. As Sora despised the organization for everything they've done, such as putting Roxas through hell and such. Note how easy it was for Sora to 'Fall' because of his caring heart too.
January 18, 201510 yr Popular Post Actually, he doesn't see Sora as a threat at all. To him, Sora is just a dull, ordinary boy with extraordinarily good luck, luck that will eventually run out.Sora didn't fail the test, the reason only Riku got the title was because he put in extra credit work.Xehanort only wanted to make Sora a vessel because Roxas and Riku where no longer viable options and he can't find Ven. But Xehanort should be afraid. Edited January 18, 201510 yr by Isamu_Kuno

January 18, 201510 yr Xehanort made him fail... There was no failure to the exams. Yen Sid even told both of them that they showed the Mark of Mastery. However, Riku put himself in the way of darkness once again to save a friend. That resulted in him becoming a Keyblade Master. Yen Sid wanted a showing of the Mark of Mastery, having no intention to truly call either one a true Keyblade Master. Xehanort had nothing to do with Sora's end result. January 18, 201510 yr A lonely old goat-faced fart up against a kid with an entire army of friends in a series that literally lets people draw strength from said friends? Honesty, Xehanort doesn't stand a chance. Maybe he should invest in Facebook.
January 18, 201510 yr I find it ironic that even though Master Xehanort does not view him as a threat per se his other selves certainly do. Xigbar looked downright terrified..
January 19, 201510 yr Xehanort made him fail... Yen Sid said they where both deserving of the title, so no, he didn't fail. Not getting the title isn't the same as failing. Eraqus' words on the MoM "... but this is not a competition, nor a battle for supremacy, not a test of wills, but a test of heart. Both of you may prevail, or neither." Even should both students pass the test and show that they deserve the title, actually granting the title is entirely up to the discretion of the Master overseeing the test. Which, when you think about it, kind of makes the title arbitrary and meaningless. Hell, you could pass the test with flying colors and still not get the title simply because your Master doesn't like you. Edited January 19, 201510 yr by Isamu_Kuno
January 20, 201510 yr Sora is friendly, Xehanort doesn't understand friendly. Unless its Barney. He might understand Barney cuz all jerks kind of do.
