Kingdom Hearts's single world and House of Mouse theory...

Posted

...so, legends in the KH universe say that once, before all the worlds were separated/isolated from each other, they were all a huge, single world, right? But then, if I'm not mistaken, the Keyblade War happened and this single world was fragmented in smaller worlds due to it being swallowed by darkness (correct me if this is wrong, please) and the light in children's heart being able to restore them (and also producing those invisible barriers for protection against outside threats and all)...and here comes the question: IF, and I really mean IF these smaller worlds ever merge and become one/a single world again in a future KH title, do you think it might resemble (not look exactly like, just resemble, because Mickey in KH series is a king, while in the show, he's just a simple host) the TV show House of Mouse [since it had (almost) all Disney characters/productions (existent at that time-2001-, not after, of course) living at the same city/world], but with FF/Square Enix characters and recent Disney productions/characters included, of course?

Feel free to share any thoughts/ideas/theories about this...

Love and peace...

Well, no, House of Mouse was just a nightclub that characters went to. It wasn't a magical super world. (Besides, darkness still existed- Pete was still a huge dick that tried to ruin everything.)

Agreed^^ I seriously doubt KH would go from a Fantasy-like universe to a Nightclub/ slapstick environment. That would literally suck all remaining seriousness out of the series.

They would definitely probably co-exist with one another, but not in a nightclub designed to show old cartoons.

Here's your answer for you. Also, House of Mouse was a spinoff to Disney animations. It had no canon significance.

Actually, it would be pretty sweet if the House of Mouse sort of took a role of a world between worlds, where a bunch of different NPCs can come and chill out. Everytime you complete a world, or do some sidequests, more of the characters come to the club, until you get a full house.

that idea is too cool to be in a KH game

crossovers between Disney characters? In a crossover game? madness

...but I meant the city (sorry for any misunderstanding) where everybody lives together, not the club itself.

I don't really see how every single world in the series, many of them with vastly different environments and settings, could all be merged into one city. Plus, what about worlds that have areas separated in them already: do Neverland and England merge into the same world? Does Space Paranoids/The Grid suddenly become part of the non-digital world?

...yeah, you could say that...
