He qualifies as an Unversed purely by technicality.

 

The Unversed (?????? Anv?su?)[1], meaning "those who were not well-versed in their own existences", are the main enemies of the game Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. They are considered "the opposite of human life" and grow from the negative emotions produced when Vanitas was created from Ventus. It is because of this that Vanitas is able to control them. By all accounts, the Unversed are extensions of Vanitas himself, and part of his power and influence

Uuuuugh so true. I sepnt like three days in total fighting this guy. I had to be like level 60-sumthin.

 

But yeah I'm looking forward to fighting that Metamorphosis in Deep Space.

I want to fight the Iron Prisoner cause it looks like it is the most challenging of all the unversed. Sometimes kingdom hearts wikia says some wrong things. Vanitas is not an unversed. He is the darkness in Vens heart. Vanitas created the unversed but he is not an unversed

I kinda want to fight the unversed that is in radient garden. Where they all fight togehter. That is going to tight!

If you made a list of BBS hardest bosses, he'd at least rank third. It's a boss you CAN'T defeat by only spamming the Attack-button. I always get sooo steamed up when I face him :DD

When I hadn't played the game, I looked forward to fight Trinity Armor, Wheel Master and that Symphony guy.

However, Wheel Master and Symphony guy weren't fun at all when I fought them.

they are extensions of vanitas and part of his power and influence making him the first unversed. i could be wrong but im pretty sure about this. while wiki can be wrong i use it for many things such as kh, naruto, bleach, darksiders, etc. i have never found anything wrong with the info i have seen so far. besides if something ends up on there that is wrong someone out there will change it. this info on vanitas has been up there for a while now. by the way, i used the wiki, not wikipedia, which is much more reliable.

Basically, it's a technicality. He himself isn't REALLY and Unversed, but

 

Since he created the first Unversed, and they were created from himself

 

He can be considered one, in the way that a parent to their child are considered the same.

Anyways, that's the main reason I want to fight the Iron Prisoner, sounds like and interesting boss. I have a few advantages, one, I actually use magic and skills, two, I'm a completionist, so I should have a really powerful set of Deck Commands, and finally, I have patience, so I'll keep trying even if it takes me all year.

plus it looks cool.
