Posted February 25, 201510 yr I made this HP bar for Haku as a concept. I would LOVE to see Studio Ghibli in KH, especially a world based on Spirited Away. If Haku was an ally, what would his Limit with Sora be named?
February 25, 201510 yr Sora would ride him as a dragon! that sounds so innappropriate Also, I highly doubt it sadly. Not only is SG not fully Disney, most fans won't even know about Spirited Away. Plus, it's not high in demand nor popular enough sadly. If any movie by SG would be in KH, it'll probably be Ponyo because when it was first released Disney actually advertised it (Also Miley Cirus' younger sister played Ponyo) i keep saying SG because I have no idea how to spell Studio Ghibi
February 25, 201510 yr The only thing Disney did was distribute the dub. By that logic, something like One Piece should be considered a FUNimation property instead of that of the original Japanese author/publishers. It is not a Disney or Square production (or otherwise heavily associated with it, ie. The Nightmare Before Christmas), therefore it should not be brought to such prominence within the series. February 26, 201510 yr I say this every time a thread like this pops up. Disney does not own Studio Ghibli, they're just business partners. Disney only publishes and distributes Studio Ghibli's films in NA, thus they do not have the rights to the settings or characters and therefor can not license them for inclusion in KH. February 26, 201510 yr This is an interesting topic. I think that Studio Ghibli is one of the only properties outside of major Disney animated films and Pixar films that would actually fit the tone of the Kingdom Hearts series. Unfortunately since Studio Ghibli is not a Disney property, this is extremely unlikely.
