Final Fantasy XV late 2015 or early 2016?

Posted

With the end said to be in sight, I'd say holiday 2015 is possible. It's very likely we'll get a release date at E3.

Square could be cool and advertise by saying FFXV in 2015, right? Get it? XV in 2015! Anyway, let the discussion begin!

If Square Enix is smart they'll never release FFXV, and just release other games with FFXV demos, since apparently the world of full of people that will buy 70 dollar games for a demo code

XV won't be ready by Holiday 2015 and even if it was the period is flooded with massive games.

How do you know? do you have an inside source? You always seem to have information.

Because all they keep showing is very early in-game stuff that isn't even finished yet. They can't even have stuff like magic in the demo. They haven't decided on airships.

I was thinking maybe early to mid 2016. But hey, it's just a guess.

No doubt, it will be 2016.

to be fair, air ships would just be a way of navigating a world that's already built. there are more taxing things to add than that

Pity, considering they are buying them for the wrong reasons. Afaik Type-0 is a decent game.

OT: Definitely 2016. They are at 60%. Even if they make it to 80% by E3 it won't be enough. They still have to polish the game after that.

That's what I keep trying to explain to them!

like there's even a chance Type-0 will end up being the better of the two, considering it had a much less turbulent development

On the topic of percents, polishing the game is included in the final percent, when it's 100% done that means it's ready to ship or already shipped

They didnt say they couldnt show magic, they might just wanna save some stuff for when the game comes out..

sounds like a PR spin to me

Nah, Tabata clearly said magic wasn't finished.

that's what I figured

someone s just trying to make it sound better by saying they don't 'want' to show it yet

I say that an early 2016 release is definitely in order!  I'm sure that by that time, the game should be released! :D
