Could No Heart Make An Appearance?

Posted

Hey there everyone, how's it going?  Well then, after battling and defeating No Heart today in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Final Mix, I have got to say that he was one savage beast of a boss!  I loved fighting him!  He was a very vicious foe from beginning to end!

Anyways, on to the point of this topic.  Do you think it's safe to assume that No Heart could end up making an appearance in Kingdom Hearts III?  I mean sure, we kinda technically fought him in Kingdom Hearts II, but it would be awesome if we could battle No Heart the way he fought in BBS FM!  I saw a comment on Youtube today that it would be exciting if No Heart was one of the Thirteen Darknesses!  And if that were so to happen, then the man behind No Heart's mask could be a middle aged, adult version of Xehanort!  We have the young and old versions, so a middle aged version should be in order, am I right?  Anyways, that comment in Youtube really sparked my interest!

So then, do you all think this would be a neat idea? I certainly think so! :D

No Heart isn't a separate entity, same with how Armour of the Master isn't

It's just data in the Mirage Arena based on Xehanort. You didn't fight No Heart in KH2, that was just Xemnas wearing Xehanort's armour

Yeah, I know it was Xemnas, and indeed he was wearing Xehanort's armor, and his armor is called No Heart.  That's why I said what I said in the comment before. :3

I mean he's definitely cool looking so I'd be fine with it.  At this point the story is so poop that I don't even care how they make it happen.

No, you missed the point. The Mirage Arena's data of Xehanort is called No Heart, the armor itself isn't a entity. And as for encountering him as a boss, the closest we're ever going to get is probably just fighting Master Xehanort at his full power. Maybe he might even don the armor again, but it's very unlikely that "No Heart" is a member of the Thirteen Darknesses.

There's really no reason for xehanort to don the armor though, from whats been described, it doesnt boost your power any, it just protects you from darkness,...and allows you to breathe in space. If anything, it might even be a hindrance for him if he were to call upon the full power of darkness.

Seemed like the armor had a pretty impressive mastery over the darkness, but then again nobody was in it, so I guess we'll just have to see. Also, it seems like you CAN breathe in space in the KH universe, it's just the darkness that's the main threat there.

The data is of xehanort inside the armour, its not like armour of the master which was probably made to imply where terra learned the cage of will and the ability to turn his armor into lingering will.I dont know about that breathing in space bit, if sora and the gang were afraid of drowning in atlantica. Though mickey and aqua were in space towards the end of BBS, but they werent awake to show signs of no oxygen having an effect on them(we will just ignore the fact that their lungs would explode if they really were in space without a suit)

I think how the data thing works is open for interpretation. For all we know the armor either had a data Xehanort inside or it was just an empty suit that held onto all of Xehanort's skills in the form of data. Either way it doesn't matter, it's a data based illusion. And no, it's likely that Terra learned all of that from having Master Eraqus' heart within him. That would explain why all of his attacks look and act far more differently in KH2 FM, as well as having mastery over other moves that you never got to use in BbS, as well as ones that Ven and Aqua demonstrated.

And again, it's never implied that space in the KH universe works the same as space anywhere else. Everyone in space without armor or other protection on seems to be functioning just fine. The only warning ever received is that the darkness looms closer than usual in the Lanes Between, so wearing nothing to protect yourself would cause you to be corrupted by darkness. Although at the same time they never outright discredit the theory as some characters seen without armor on are usually surrounded by a glowing aura, which might be protecting them, but this isn't always consistent, so it's hard to say.

When I said that it was implied that the cutscene showing cage of will being used was made to imply that that is where Terra learned it from. I in no way meant that he learned it from the mirage arena, I meant the fact that he learned the ability from eraqus. But still the arm our of the masters name and description leads to a stronger inclination that it is another version of lingering will, while no hearts description discussing how it clads a mysterious person leads to the inclination that someone is inside the armor, but like you said it doesn't matter, isn't really canon just gives the player insight.

Well, this is all very interesting.  How this all plays into Kingdom Hearts III, we've yet to see.  For all we know, No Heart might probably not appear, but then again, it could happen, who knows?  Gah, I can't wait for Kingdom Hearts III! X3
