Nomura discusses Kingdom Hearts III & more in group Kingdom Hearts fansite interview

I find it interesting he used past tense when talking about the magic in KH3, when he said they wanted to. Not sure how to interpret it.

Maybe because they've already done it? You can see it in the trailer. Tornado spell reshapes the grass, Fire Spell burns some of it and you can slide on the ice when you cast Blizzard.

But later in the same answer he says "we are hoping to achieve those types of lasting effects" indicating that they haven't done it yet, but we can see they have.

"A more realistic shade in certain worlds."  Good lord, I sniff Port Royal here!  The realistic shading...oh God, Sora and the gang would look realistic and blend in with the Pirates characters!  Gahh, I'm just speculating this, but OMG, it gets me hyped just thinking about it! :D

And something that also intrigues me is that allies in Disney worlds will also turn out to be summons!  That's a pretty badass concept! :D

Overall, this was a great interview!  Thank you all for pitching in and interviewing Nomura! :3

I'm so stoked. Summons confirmed. Yay!
