I agree that sora is not a guardian of light. See my reasoning behind this goes back to kingdom hearts 1. In the original game the narration told sora that he would open the door to light. While some may speculate that that has happened, I speculate that maybe sora is the one left after the 13 and 7 clash to form the x-blade. See they will go into the dive to the heart and sora will be left alone with no way to stop anything. Kingdom hearts looming in the sky above when xehanort not risking himself as one of the 13 envelops the worlds in darkness as they once were. This would make it so that sora would have to open the door to light, But he might lose the keyblade. It isn't his to begin with, first of all. Ventus will be his own person by then making that idea disappear and the only other way he had it was because he had to open the door to light. This would leave him with just magic if even that again an average boy.

Agree with who? He gained the right to wield the keyblade at the end of kh1 and is confirmed to become a master for the sole purpose of going against the new XIII as one of the guardians.

Ah .. I read an interview where a question stated Sora was a master in the trailer, but it seems Nomura just ignored whether it was correct or not. My bad.

You don't have to be a master to be a Guardian. Being a master only signifies the mark of a tried and tested Keyblade wielder.

You're getting the idea, but you can still wield a Keyblade and be a Seeker of Darkness, as Master Xehanort, Young Xehanort and Vanitas show.

So far, all we have are candidates, not confirmed Guardians.

first off. heres the link to the people i am agreeing with. second i never said ventus was a master. Sora had purer light then riku when riku went to darkness. Then at the end of kingdom hearts one he took that keyblade back. What i was saying is that if ventus is not a part of him at minimum he wont be able to duel weild. so did he gain the right or did his light yet again just shine brighter than the owner. no i am not putting out a thread just because. I thought of something and nobody in my surrounding area gives a #$%&^ about these games so i had to ask the internet but i made the mistake of not saying who i agree with first and got mainly so who are you agreeing with. Did i miss anything. Here goes the reasons he has the keyblade. 1.) he has rikus. even if riku got his back and is actually using his while sora uses ventus keyblade then sora would lose it. 2 like i stated just know ventus heart is in him making him "worthy" we know that he is full of light but (i might be wrong) if i remember right nobody said sora became worthy he just showed riku up again. yeah i might be wrong but I like the idea that sora would have to be left out of this yet still have to save everyone in the end. Am i wrong that that would be pretty epic? I dont know maybe i am wrong

Sora has the Keyblade because he earned it after the "my friends are my power" thing in KH1.
