Ok so, I looked at the recent thread about Snarl of Memories which was the cutscene xion transformed into different kh characters, but what REALLY confuses me is why zexion is there. Why not some other organization 13 member?

Well, Zexion can create illusions, and he created the illusion that it was Xion. (which I really doubt the rest could pull off)

It was a flashback of the scene in CoM Reverse/Rebirth. Zexion is the one who was there, so it wouldn't make sense to put another member.

The scene takes place in COM Reverse/Rebirth where Riku was in his version of Destiny Islands from his memories. That scene and dialoge are quite the same if you compare them. But the reason Xion had that dream probably because her encounter with Riku at beast's castle.

this was a cutscene of Kingdom Hearts CoM Reverse/ Rebirth, this probably occured to Xion since she has seen both Zexion and Riku before

That scene was in kh re COM reverse rebirth. I recognized it when Zexion said "Surely you knew this would happen" and Zexion was the antagonist at that part of the game.

I know that Riku is connected to Sora, but how would she remember something that is in Riku's memory?

I can see her remembering something in Sora's memory, but not in Riku's.

And I really don't think it's because of their encounter.

Sometimes when it goes static you see parts of castle oblivion, so i think that because its rikus memory (since she is connected to sora and thus riku) she absorbed some of riku's memories as well

Hmm, really? I've never noticed that. I'll have to watch the cutscene again and check that out.

But it might not be because of Riku's memory that that happens. She was born in Castle Oblivion, so she could be remembering that place with her own memory.

 

But it could be that she did that. But I still don't quite see how. I don't think his connection to Sora is enough. =/

In the game the only point being made with Xion was that she was absorbing the memories Sora had of others not that she was also absorbing memories of those connected to Sora. Because she did manage to absorb some of Riku's memories I think this will become an important element to the plot that will be elaborated on in the future. Spoilers: bbs The Riku-Vanitas connection also creates many other connections which might be how these memories got into Xion.

 

If any one tries to make sense of this the videos alone will only make it more confusing. In Roxas' diary he says he wasn't even sure if this mission was real. There are other dream like sequences like the beach and I am not to sure what that was also. What makes this so hard to understand is how reality and illusion are blurred together. The scenes like "Riku takes care of Xion" and "Roxas passes by" seem to be real so we have something real to confuse us into thinking "The snarl of memories" scene is more real than it actually is.

 

To the point: Snarl of memories was a nightmare Xion had caused by *insert reason here* which will likely be a big thing in other games due to the unique scenario that happened. And I doubt having this scene was as random as it seems.
