hatok 6,413 Posted July 2, 2015 I've played KH2 so any times at this point, but I only just noticed this little detail. In the Twilight Town Mansion specifically in Namine's room, the battle menu will change to this Castle Oblivion themed one. As far as I can tell it will literally only appear in this room. I like it when you can discover little details like this, even in games you've played to death 7 Klonoa the Dream Traveler, Col.Random, venxas24 and 4 others reacted to this
Master Eraqus 1,340 Posted July 2, 2015 Yeah, that was a really nice detail they put in the game. The other room where you can have this command menu is the pod room, the one where Sora was sleeping in.
catmaster0116 2,676 Posted July 2, 2015 Was this in the Original KH2 as well? Or is this only with the KH2.5 HD-ReMix? You've got me paranoid, now I'll be watching the command bar whenever I play it again in the future

HeyMouseSayCheese 1,133 Posted July 2, 2015 (edited) I literally have no idea how you didn't notice it years ago, but yeah, it's a really cool detail. I really hope they bring the different command menus back for KH3, I always thought that was a neat little aesthetic thing and it'd be a good chance for more little easter eggs like this one. HeyMouseSayCheese 1,133 Posted July 2, 2015 how DID you notice it? It's literally in one room Yeah, and I went to that room all the time. It's a super convenient save point for the end of Roxas' story and just before Sora goes to TWTNW. Did you just never go to that room before? (Also most FAQ sites do list it as an easter egg, so it's not like this was a hidden thing.)

Were you grinding? Also who uses a FAQ for Roxas' story
HeyMouseSayCheese 1,133 Posted July 2, 2015 why were you using it as a save point during Roxas' story? Were you grinding? Also who uses a FAQ for Roxas' story Like I said, it's also accessible and useful in Sora's story (even more so in FM when Mushroom XII is being a bastard and you don't have the time/patience to keep shooting magic at it). And yeah, I use save points every chance I get, I've had enough power outages and random life problems pop up to know to always save whenever humanly possible. If you don't, then fine, but you're living much too dangerously, friend.

Ultimus Grid 546 Posted July 2, 2015 I've played KH2 over what, 20+ times by now, and never during all those time have I seen that. Although, to be fair, I don't look around for things like that. Still nice to see though.
