"Grow out" of video games? Hmmm...I'm not really a gamer myself, but I always thought that video games were something that kind of grows WITH you, really. Many people's first console was a Sega, or a Playstation, etc.....and now, they're rocking PS4's, and other new consoles...They cherish collections they've started as kids/teens! And hell, these days you can make such a great living as a gamer with Youtube and Streaming communities, so if it's something you truly love, there's no reason to trash it completely! Of course, there's a balance...as with anything.

Anyhoo, nice call on your part! Follow your dreams, Kaito. :)

Well "growing up" is really all based on how YOU yourself define it. The way I and most other people see it these days, there's no need to give up playing video games when you're older so long as you can manage the rest of your adult life well enough. I mean, I realize that when I get more responsibilities like a job and a family, I won't have as much time to play video games as I do now, but I do believe that I'll still find some time to play them in decent amounts of time. And hopefully it's a fun experience I can share with my future spouse and children, instead of something that competes for my attention. To put it simply, I believe it's all about how you balance your hobbies in your life, and as long as it's being moderated decently, there's no real need to give anything up, unless it's threatening your health.

The way I see it, video games aren't something that really become obsolete the older one gets. Many people view them as just some sort of pastime that kid's enjoy, but really, there's no sort of age limit on them. There are plenty of mature games out there that are just as suitable for adults as they are for kids. Heck, for some adults, video games are an important part of their career. It might just be because I want to become a developer myself one day, but I personally don't think there's any sort of age limit to video games. They can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of age or any other sort of factor.

Honestly, being a gamer is something that sticks with you the rest of your life.  Once a gamer, always a gamer!  Video games are something that we grow up with, and well, they become an important and cherished part of our childhood memories and our lives.  I certainly see myself as always being a gamer, and if you look around nowadays, you'll notice that the grand majority of gamers are young adults and older adults!  Just like a moviegoer, whenever an awesome new game comes out, you'll see gamers fanboying/fangirling to stores to get said games!  Video games are a part of you, just as you are a part of them!  Of course, you should always keep a balance, but hey, as long as you keep everything in your life in check, there's no need to give up on video games! :D
