You need improved mobility to deal with big areas like what we've seen in KH3 so far That's why we have free run and flomotion.
July 22, 201510 yr I rather want him moving slow like in KH1 and Recoded. It really made you to fully experience the world instead of just going to the boss of the world.
July 22, 201510 yr Author That's why we have free run and flomotion. that helps you with vertical movement, but doesn't do a thing for actual travel speed I rather want him moving slow like in KH1 and Recoded. It really made you to fully experience the world instead of just going to the boss of the world. that's something that can only be good until you actually want to get somewhere
July 22, 201510 yr To be honest, I don't really care if he'll be faster or not. Now that we're finally gonna get open worlds, instead of multiple stages separated by loading screens, I would adore running or even simply walking through the world to see how amazing the worlds can be with the new amazing graphics and the open world and enjoy the moment of how far KH has grown.
July 22, 201510 yr that helps you with vertical movement, but doesn't do a thing for actual travel speed that's something that can only be good until you actually want to get somewhere Flowmotion definitely helps for travel speed and he looked pretty fast to me in the trailer. It looked like his normal speed was the equivalent of his KH2 speed when enemies are around so that's good.
July 22, 201510 yr Author Flowmotion definitely helps for travel speed and he looked pretty fast to me in the trailer. It looked like his normal speed was the equivalent of his KH2 speed when enemies are around so that's good. Flowmotion is functionally the same speed as walking, and it requires a wall to bounce off of in the first place. Not great for when you want to get from point A to point B and KH2 walking is good for KH2 sized stages KH3 is much bigger To be honest, I don't really care if he'll be faster or not. July 22, 201510 yr that's something that can only be good until you actually want to get somewhere There's always gliding or just air dashing. But running at a slow pace should happen.

It was definitely faster than running.
July 22, 201510 yr sounds great until the spectacle wears off and you just want to get from one place to the next That never really happens to me in any game. I know that it will take me a LONG time for me to just want to get from one place to the next cause I'm patient. But that's just my personal take on it and no one can really change my mind on it.
July 22, 201510 yr You never know, the Haste ability could return... Edited July 22, 201510 yr by JustinisMii
July 22, 201510 yr I'm fine with the way they have it currently with KH1&2. Slow enough speeds to make you enjoy the levels through your first play-through. Then post-game you get super-glide and moving about is easy. The last thing I want to do is rush KH3. Who knows how long till we get another. Hell, who knows how long until we get 3
July 22, 201510 yr They'll just add the option to ride chocobos. ...I don't actually know how I feel about that
July 22, 201510 yr Author There's always gliding or just air dashing. But running at a slow pace should happen. Gliding is a late game ability, and no, it really shouldn't You could get pretty far pretty fast with flowmotion in 3D. It was definitely faster than running. Faster the moment you use it, but then it comes to a complete stop unless you touch another wall That never really happens to me in any game. I know that it will take me a LONG time for me to just want to get from one place to the next cause I'm patient. But that's just my personal take on it and no one can really change my mind on it. That's becuase all the other games had significantly more compact areas. This is'n't an OLD problem, it's a new one that comes from the new size of the worlds You never know, the Haste ability could return... I'd very much support this I'm fine with the way they have it currently with KH1&2. Slow enough speeds to make you enjoy the levels through your first play-through. Then post-game you get super-glide and moving about is easy. The last thing I want to do is rush KH3. Who knows how long till we get another. Hell, who knows how long until we get 3 It works fine in KH1 and 2 because everything's on a smaller scale this isn't about rushing, it's about it not taking an hour to get from one end fo the stage to the other They'll just add the option to ride chocobos. ...I don't actually know how I feel about that it's about time, considering they've had moogles since day one
July 22, 201510 yr I rather want him moving slow like in KH1 and Recoded. It really made you to fully experience the world instead of just going to the boss of the world. As someone who plays some MMO or open world games, it isn't as great as it sounds. Sure I am not expecting sonic level but its gotta be faster than it is now. Even if we have access to flowmotion, glide, etc. Its good to have a bit quicker running speed, maybe even a momentum mechanic which would be iffy though due to the access to so many movement ways. July 23, 201510 yr That's becuase all the other games had significantly more compact areas. This is'n't an OLD problem, it's a new one that comes from the new size of the worlds When I said "any game", I didn't mean any KH game. I meant any other video game in existence. Again, I don't really care about this problem. I want to explore the world at whatever speed I want and there's nothing that anyone can say that would change my mind about it. If we get an ability to travel at super speed, I won't use it, cause I want to explore the worlds and enjoy the environment. Edited July 23, 201510 yr by Master Eraqus

July 23, 201510 yr well there's an easy way to take it slow don't tilt the analog stick all the way Exactly. I could easily just do that. That's what I've been basically saying.
