Why couldn't Roxas say photo?

 

I can understand the others they were DATA and the dusks thing and all but Roxas... Can somebody explain me

to the Nobodies, everything in the world is data, so to them stealing the word photo is the same as stealing an actual photo

So that's why Roxas can't say it

 

EDIT: wait Roxas wasn't DATA right? how can that impact Roxas so much I know he is a nobody but he wasn't data right?

Or maybe they didn't record this word and were too lazy to call the actors back so... "DEY WILL STEEL DA WORD!"

Oddly enough, that's the first time anyone has explained that to me.

I was wondering about this... Did they actually fully explain this at some point? In an interview maybe?

But how can this realy effect Roxas in a way?

Its like this

 

They can still mouth the word, but due to the computer glitch caused by the Dusks; they aren't able to vocalise or whisper the word.

exactly what Catmaster had said. the Dusk were glitching the system. Keep in mind that Roxas was also believing he had memories with the rest of the trio in order to regain the missing memories inside him (and give them back to sora).

Roxas is a part of the digital world too, so the rules of the digital world apply to him. If they didn't, he'd fall through the floor

I took it to be the Dusks stole every bit of data associated with "photo", because they couldn't tell the difference.They stole the photo's of Roxas (Cause for some reason everyone seemed to have one of him) and took it a bit far be taking the very word, erasing every fragment of "photo's", which they thought was Roxas. And since the townspeople and gang are data, they were corrupted by this.

Roxas, however, is supposedly a flesh and blood person in a dreamworld, so why it affected him is beyond me.
