    I just checked,Toriyama didn't fully direct FFX on his own,in fact he served only as an event director(his previous usual role) alongside Takayoshi Nakazato (map), Toshirō Tsuchida (battle) with Kitase as the producer, and the first game where he was fully in charge was F-2

    Yes, he counts as one of three directors. But if you don't count Toriyama as a director of X then XII doesn't have any directors. Haha. Completely normal to have 2 or 3 directors.

    For what it was yeah, but the story wasn't something that I would call ground-breaking or even memorable.
