X(chi)...well i guess technically it isn't a mmo more like a social game since you can't "play together"

 

Ive played fanmade ones, and they were a ton of fun. As long as it's non canon so it can have real worlds with many keywielders, I think it'd be great.

Nomura should've just turned KH X(Chi) into basically Skyrim online or something. Obviously it wouldn't be that indepth however having an actual MMO for the Keyblade War would've been epic.

I seriously wished that KHX wound up being an actual MMO/MMORPG and not a browser game.

I mean it could kind of work, but to be honest Kingdom Hearts isn't a title fit for MMO but if they decide to make an extra mile and have good lore, settings, and gameplay for the MMO is could work. Gameplay will be more easier, its just that the lore is really being just solved in the main games.

Exactly. Much as we all love KH, it's really not that popular of a franchise (not compared to Final Fantasy, at least). I've almost never met a person in real life who's even heard of KH, let alone is a fan. We should consider ourselves lucky to have gotten X even; it's not going to do well in the Western world.

 

Personally, I prolly wouldn't enjoy a true KH MMO all that much. I tend to like KH games for the excellent gameplay, and that'd assuredly be dumbed down to accommodate massive multiplayer components. Games like WoW and FF XIV don't have good gameplay, but they let you play with tons of people at once (among other features), so it's worth it. I don't think it'd be worth it for Kingdom Hearts.

Pretty much. The Kingdom Hearts series has shipped 21 million copies worldwide in 13 years with half of those from decade old games. There is no chance an MMO would work.

Not for another 5-6 years yet, I want more actual canon games before we get a FF14 style mmo.

I don't think so, but a Dynasty Warriors with Kingdom Hearts characters sound cool. (They did it with LOZ)
