Do you think Kingdom Hearts III will have more mini-games?

Posted

Thinking about it, Kingdom Hearts II didn't have that many mini-games that had good replay value. Now, while there was the Garden of Assemblage, as well as the XIII Mushrooms and the Underdrome, there wasn't else much to do in terms of mini-games.

However, with the increased capabilities that the PS4 provides it is entirely possible that we may have more mini-games, which is good since a longer game keeps you entertained for longer.

Anyway, to get to the point, do you think this time around we could get mini-games that have a greater replay value?

Nomura did confirm mini games for KH3.

But like I said, do you think will it have more and replayable mini-games?

Actually, KH2 had a lot of mini-games. Alone in Twilight Town we had like 10. But you're right, besides the Cavern of Remembrance and the Underworld cups, there were not a lot with a high replay value.

I guess that depends on what mini-games they're gonna make, most of them are actually quite annoying, and you just play them to platinum the game, not because of fun.

So yes, they can make more mini-games with a high replay value, and I hope they will, I wanna play KH3 for as long as possible.

The overall series has a good deal of mini games, and felix is right twilight town, though i guess OP wants more mini games that are less of a novelty and more of a incentive to keep playing them as well as more in depth mini games with more control. As that's how mini should somewhat be, you know like a carnival somewhat

i think KH2 handled it's mini games well, in the fact that you typically only had to play them once or never at all. Hopefully KH3's mini-games will be a bit more exciting and engaging.

Exactly this. I don't want mini-games to be played to earn the platinum trophy. I want mini-games to be played repeatedly for entertainment and to increase the overall game's lifespan.

Since I think BBS did minigames VERY well, I'm expecting similar things for III.

Aside from ice cream beat, then yes, I agree.

This would be so cool! It's certainly add to the replay value of the game and keep me entertained for longer.

That, and the fact that it will actually liven up the worlds!

I'm hoping for puzzles, and such and I don't mean like collecting the puzzle pieces in final mix, but like the ones in KH1, and I don't want pointless sections like in Space paranoids where we had to hit the door in the pit cell to unlock it or in Port royal where we had to launch the barrels off the ship since those had no difficulty to them they weren't fun, and the one in space paranoids they could of just extended the cut scene a bit, and had Sora unlock the door like he usually does.

I would just hope they would be interesting, and varied such as a few fetch quest, some where we have to deliver something to another npc, some where we have to hunt down a specific enemy, some where we need to synthesize certain items for people, and more. I'd just like some variety in the quest

Mini-game is nice. And I hope they will also include Job-quest or just Quest to prolong the game and to visit thoroughly each worlds. :)

I definitely think that the mini games in KHIII will have a ton of replay value. Just loking back at the more recent titles the mini games are becoming more and more engaging as time goes on. I expect the same of KHIII

I think yes! I hope there are more new mini games too.

"Help Pooh out of the hunny pot!"

I was so happy when I finished that world so I wouldn't have to return to it.
