As anyone who has been (trying) to play Unchained X knows, there has been countless issues with the game.  The main stem of these issues is the fact that so many people from around the world have been trying to access the game, even though this was just supposed to be for Japan.  Due to the overload on servers, they have literally shut the game down for massive repairs to the servers.

 

Based on the complete overload that they have received, do you believe that this will prompt Square Enix to speed up the work on their localization of the game so that they can get more people off of the Japanese servers? 

I don't think so. However, I think this will make the English version more stable when it's released as they will have an idea of how the server load will need to be. I think due to the fact this is KH's first mobile game and didn't expect all of this, they were a bit unprepared. If you ask me, the Japanese version of KHUX is like the guinea pig for the game, so that the other KHUX versions don't end up with these issues in the future.

If anything them trying to fix the servers is probably gonna give them less time to work on the localisation and slow it down

Well I hope so, but in my opinion its kind of ignorant for people to complain about the game being laggy or not working when they aren't even supposed to be playing the game in the first place (unless you live in japan) and blaming Square Enix for it, now i'm worried about them messing up the English version by overloading it ,instead of waiting for their version to come out. (Remember this is all my personal opinion so sorry if I offend anyone)

I disagree with everyone else, I believe that it will.

 

By having an English version being released earlier than expected, it will lower the traffic on the Japanese app by having people revert from the Japanese version to the English version. Besides, a higher demand than expected upon the Japanese version of the app means that the application is successful enough to release overseas. Sure, it's a pain that the Japanese version is laggy, because of the heavy traffic, but, it's at the reward of popularizing Kingdom Hearts again.  :smile:
