YouTube is soon forcing people to change into the new beta channels. Some people are okay with it, others are outraged. Which do you prefer? The Beta, or Old Channels?

I prefer the old channels. I don't like how you can't view favorites, or the user's videos on a separate page, and I'd rather it pops to the actual video's page, instead of playing instantly on the profile. The new design doesn't really appeal to me, but I don't really know why =

But the beta channels also aren't bad to me, I just think they need to be worked on a bit more, because I feel that it might confuse some people for a while on YouTube.

i dont like that the info box with your name and that isnt at the top anymore it sucks everything else seems fine oh and if you sign up for a youtube account it onlys has like 2 of your uploads cos i tryed it i put up 4 videos and only 2 are on the channal even though i already have an account already

i like the old channels. it really pisses me off. you should be able to CHOOSE for your beta - i don't mind it when other people WANT a beta channel, but to be forcing us? i think it's stupid.

How it looks is great, but the features on it are just really annoying

I swear I think there was something... somewhere said that they newer members (that joined in 2009 right around the time they announced the beta channel move) they don't allow to have the older channels. If you're account is like.. from June/July maybe that's why D:

Yeah I hate it the Beta version. At first I thought it was cool but then it looked really dumb, So I change it. And when I couldn't get into my regular account, I had to sign up for a new one. Guess what? They forced me to have a Beta version. I tried to change it and thoses jerks wouldn't let me.

 

Oh and guess what, I just checked my old channel, and they did it to my channel :@

I think they're going through the years because my original was in 06, and then they got through 07, and they're getting through 08... which is when my current was made... D:

beta got me a few days ago, and i desperately want it to die in a hole.

yea they automatically switched mines cuz i was gone for like a week and wen i got back on it changged and everything that was on my page originally was like gone! i liked how i set up my favorites and videos because it made it easy for me to get to one of my friends pages and stuff and arrrrrgh! i wish we could just go to a new page to see the video instead of it poping up on the profile! its not like i dnt like how it looks...in my opinion it looks cool but its just so difficult and i wished they would just gave us a choice
