Who will make Xehanort bleed? (heh)

Posted

Batman v Superman. xD

All jokes aside, I have a plausible theory as to who will make him bleed.

Firstly, we must understand why Norty has done what he has done.

As of now, we know nothing about Xehanort pre-BBS other than info from the trailers and reports and stuff. What this means is that we can't tell for sure what made Xehanort want to oppose the light. However, the answer is not of relevance in this theory. Why? Because Nort is still going to do what he was gearing up to do and that is take on the 7 Guardians of Light, The answer will just answer questions about why he did it, not stop him from doing it.

Now, who is going to "extinguish his light"?

I believe that it is not going to be the main cast of the Kingdom Hearts series. This is because the one who has enough courage to kill Xehanort will most likely succumb to the darkness from guilt and stuff and Terra and Riku already learned from this mistake.

My theory?

At the end of the final battle, the new enemy for the next saga pops in (of course he shall have several cameos through the game before) and takes Xehanort out like Vanitas "took Aqua out" in BBS. This action will not be of much effect as far as succumbing to the darkness goes as the new dude must already have a heart of "pure darkness". He then disappears into the darkness.

A shocker for us but not for Sora.

That is because he doesn't exactly know what side the "enemy" is on. Since he doesn't know him/her,he won't acknowledge much and BAM!. Happy ending.  At the start of the next game, maybe we can have Sora start another journey from Destiny Islands/ new home world to go after this new enemy

To be honest I don't like this idea, for several reasons. First off, I want Sora to defeat Xehanort, no one else (I don't think he will kill him, maybe he puts him into the realm of darkness or something like that). Sora is the main protagonist, Xehanort the main antagonist of this saga, hence the "Xehanort" saga.

Then I don't want the new enemy to appear in KH3, at least not personally. This is still Xehanort's saga, so all new enemies should stay away till the new one begins. Besides, if the new enemy would take Xehanort out, Xehanort would look like a weakling, which would be a real shame, considering the time and work it took to build up this fascinating character.

And last but not least, I don't know why the one who defeats Xehanort would succumb to the darkness. Kingdom Hearts showed us more than one time that light is stronger than darkness, so light is all Sora needs to beat Xehanort.

That is at least my opinion.

I always felt like either terra or master eraqus should be the one to put down xehanort. I mean they both have had the most interaction with hime personally while everyone else has fought his lackeys. I know they'll do the whole everyone's heart is with sora thing to finish him off but still, eraqus or terra should take him out.

with an ending like that, the next saga will just feel like part of this current saga. lets just end this story and keep it stand alone from the next one.

Sora or Kairi.

Sora or Terra to put down Xehanort. I mean actually kill him. I don't want Avatar: The Last Airbender.

It would be like in BBS, when Aqua was struck down by Vanitas, which was a surprise to Ventus and Aqua. Even Nort could not have seen this one coming.

Xehanort managed to kill Eraqus without fail because he had already succumbed to the darkness. Anger leads to darkness and anger is precisely what you need to take down Xehanort i.e. deal the final blow. Light is stronger and I agree with that. But I think that the final blow should't be dealt by anyone from this saga.

And the next enemy won't be revealed in this saga. Hopefully in the secret ending we could get hints about this particular enemy.

And yes, I also want Sora to beat the weed out of Xehanort, but in the end, he's too good to do so, he sees the bright side before the dark one. He can relate to Xehanort as Riku, his best friend, had also succumbed to the darkness in KH1, has faced a similar jorney, albeit learning to use both light and darkness in equal proportions. We don't know what made Nort do what he has done, but in his heart, it feels right for him.

But Xehanort isn't Aqua. Aqua was just one of three protagonists, while Xehanort is the main antagonist of his own saga. So Xehanort taken down by a complete unknown character would have a different effect than Aqua taken down by Vanitas (and in the end SHE defeated HIM).

You don't need darkness in order to defeat or even kill someone. Sora managed to kill Ansem SoD in KH1, Larxene and Marluxia in CoM, and even more members of the organization in KH2, without the slightest use of darkness. Anger doesn't necessarily lead to darkness. Sora and Aqua never used darkness, but both got angry within the story. Darkness is more of a temptation, which is to be resisted, it's not awakened by anger only, so Sora killing Xehanort without darkness is absolutely possible and I'm sure that it will happen.

I agree that it would be nice to see a hint of the new enemy in the secret ending, but I don't want him to appear in the final battle of KH3 and interfere.

In all the games that you mentioned, we sort of knew why Sora took down the antagonists, because in Sora's opinion, they were doing what was beneficial to them, but not to others, but in the case of Nort, we are not sure. He could be another keyblade leader, just led astray by the darkness. If Nomura told us that Xehanort was just possessed by darkness, none of us wouldn't want to kill him as he was just being controlled, and the same goes for Sora. If he learned of how Nort grew up and stuff ,he might have a change of heart. I, for one, don't want Sora to kill him, rather try to make amends with him and Xehanort dies peacefully.

And this is where my theory comes in, the new enemy that we don't know of kills him, shocking us but Sora doesn't exactly know who it is.

(In my theory, Xehanort dies after the final battle, after the amends(if possible) are made), and this happens right at the start of KH4 chronologically)

Damn it I messed up the timeline. I cri evri tiem

I respect your opinion, and I only said in my first post that I don't like it. It's possible that your theory will happen, but I doubt it and don't want it to. That's my personal opinion. Wether Sora kills Xehanort or defeats him in an other way, I don't know, and I'm fine with both, as long as he's the one who will do it.

I personally think that it would be cool if Vanitas defeated Xehanort

MX only killed Eraqus from behind after he'd already been worn down by Terra. And if anger leads to Darkness, then how come Princesses like Kairi and Belle get angry at times?

Remember in Star Wars how Luke was supposed up to be the one to kill emporer palpatine? Then George Lucas made Anakin the one to kill him and it turns out that Anakin was the chosen one?

That was firetrucking ridiculous and if Nomura pulls that (He's a star wars fan) in KH3 I swear to Donald...

SORA, SORA IS THE MAIN PROTAGONIST

Who've we been playing as since day one? Who are we mainly playing as in KH3? Who's been foreshadowed to open the door to light since KH1?

SORA

This is Sora's story. Although Terra has more of a reason, I have faith MX will give Sora reasons to kill him in order to awake the darkness inside him. We barely know anything about Eraqus either. SORA SORA SORA

Of Course other people can help, but at the end of the day, Sora should be the one to stick his keyblade into Xehanort's

chest (you thought I was gonna say something else) or fire that last beam of light.

Sort of off topic, but Luke's decision to not kill the Emperor is a triumph and is actually the culmination of his story arc, as rather than give in to his base emotions of anger, he decides to take the path of wisdom and patience, which makes him a true Jedi and separates him from the mistakes his father made.

On topic, if not Sora, than I want it to be Maleficent. Because having the Mistress of All Evil KO the supposed "cunning strategist" would be perfect.

I honestly really don't know who it is that'll deal the final blow to old man Nort, because all the characters have a reason for taking him out!  While Terra would be the most logical option, I'm guessing Sora could be the one.  Like a few members have said here before, Xehanort might make Sora have a reason to take him out throughout the game, ya know?  But for now, I can't offer a concrete answer! The Princesses have no darkness in their hearts, and if Kairi managed to bring back Sora (KH1), surely they can resist the darkness. Also anger is an emotion and when conveyed through fighting and or hate, darkness grows in yer hearts.

Well, Terra wouldn't kill Eraqus, I believe he just wanted to stop him from hurting Ven. But after the battle, Xehanort struck him down. Terra still succumbed to the darkness during the battle.

By anger leads to darkness, I meant that anger that is channeled through fighting, cursing, stuff like that. Terra vs Xehanort. Terra's motives were pure, but he was forced to use the darkness to beat Nort.

Good discussion tho guys! I really like the theories and counter arguments and whatnot.

Me I will go to the game world my self and ask him

"Tell me to bleed" *drops down from the sky* "You will!"

Water Mom is the only acceptable answer.
