Could Ventus be from the Keyblade Graveyard? 

 

Let me explain: From what we've seen of the Dive To the Heart Stations, the background of all the stations feature one aspect of that character's home. Sora's features the Destiny Islands both when he's four and even now as a fifteen year old. Belle's background is Beast, who she lives with, so it sorta counts. From what we see of Ven's, his background consists of the Keyblade Graveyard. Why would this be, unless it was his home? 

 

It would certainly explain why he had so much darkness in his heart back when Xehanort first met him. Growing up in a wasteland can't be good for you...

Another interpretation is that the world shown represents the Heart of the individual. Due to the lack of a home and the constant struggles, he doesn't have a place he can think of it as home, therefore a wasteland is shown

So either way we're agreeing Ven had a very troubled childhood.

If daybreak town is also the keyblade graveyard Ven could be from there.

I absolutely believe the keyblade graveyard is what's left of daybreak town. Might explain why all those key blades are positioned like that: maybe the survivors of the war put all the key blades like that on purpose to act as gravestones for the people who died. 

Actually, Ventus may be from Twilight Town. The reason as to why I say this is because Twilight Town is a world that is in between light and darkness. Before the creation of Vanitas, Ventus was completely balanced with his light and darkness. Besides, there's plot relevance for being a world being heavily featured in the trailers.

I've also always thought he could be from there. My headcanon is that Ventus was likely picked up by Xehanort at a very young age, (4 or 5) from Twilight Town and he was probably an orphan. This explains why he doesn't really have a 'home' because he doesn't really remember having one. Then he spent the next couple years with MX until he did his darkness experiment and lost the memory of that time, too, eventually being brought to The Land of Departure.

Daybreak town or maybe a new original world we've never seen! This also sparks the question of Terra and Aqua's homes. A lot of people say Xehanort killed Ven's parents when he was a child and abducted him.

I agree with that theory but I want to add more towards it. Ventus, Luxord, Larxene, Demyx and Marluxia are all orphans of the Twilight Town Mansion. At the time of his visit as an Adult, Master Xehanort decided to adopt a young Ventus as he wanted to simply train him in the ways of the Keyblade and make him understand the balance of light and darkness. After doing research about the key of unlocking Kingdom Hearts, he let Ventus mature alongside his darkness.

The mansion-orphan statement was just speculation. As far as Destiny Islands and Twilight Town's connections, I don't really there is a definite connection. Twilight Town is urban whilst Destiny Islands is rural.

You know he could be from Destiny Islands, we don't really know where he came from cause it's never revealed but my guess is that maybe he came from Destiny Islands since Xehanort would let him die there. Plus Terra send him there after saving him from Eraqus.

I don't like the idea of Ven being from Twilight Town. Mostly because Roxas was born there. I mean, he's already got Ven's face and Sora's body, let him have something to himself. 

I, as other members here have mentioned, think that Xehanort killed Ventus's parents when he was young and took him under his wing!  I also think that maybe Ven's homeworld was destroyed, and Xehanort just happened to find him drifting in the Lanes Between!  That mystery surrounding Ven is a curious one, and I hope it's expanded upon in Kingdom Hearts III!

That is exactly why Ven should be from Twilight Town. Every nobody is born in Twilight Town: the fact that it was Roxas hub world doesn't really mean anything in the grand scheme of things. Ven's probably going to have a new hairstyle to differentiate him from Roxas.

I'm calling it: Daybreak Town became Twilight town (That will explain all the Union things in the Old Mansion) And Ventus lived in Twilight Town. This explains why Roxas was (re-)Born in Twilight Town.
