Returning: Pete, Maleficent and Hades (and maybe Barbosa).

 

New: Davy Jones/Blackbeard (Pirates of the Caribean). I couldn't care less for the other ones (unless there's more returning from KH1). If Star Wars is to be introduced in KH (which I don't want), Darth Vader and/or Episode VII's antagonist could be included.

I think it is a given that Mother Gothel from Tangled will appear, as she is a major character in Tangled. And Baymax's old model is confirmed as a boss!

Honestly I would really love to see Dr. Facilier, because I think he'd be able to fit even without a world.

 

The beagle boys aren't new as they showed up in dream drop distance, but I would like to see them return as minions for Pete.

 

I would mention more, but wanted to do villains that would work without worlds since otherwise that's doing nothing more than a world listing, and there have already been plenty of those.

Yzma - The Emperor's New Groove

Long John Silver - Treasure Planet

Dr. Facilier - Princess and the Frog

Emperor Zurg - Toy Story

Lots-o-Huggin' Bear - Toy Story

Hopper - A Bug's Life

Randall - Monsters Inc.

Syndrome - The Incredibles

Davy Jones - Pirates of the Caribbean

Loki - Marvel Cinematic Universe

Darth Vader - Star Wars

Emperor Palpatine - Star Wars

 

So...yeah. There are quite a few to choose from

Mother Gothel is bound to appear, because, well, every single world at this point has (at least) shown off the antagonist of its respective film, so I think it's certain, I just hope we actually get to fight her, unlike Frollo, CLU or the Evil Queen.

Same with Hades, but Yokai won't be anywhere to be seen if they just leave it at Baymax as the villain, unless they pull an unexpected twist or something.

The Horned King from Black Cauldron. I would like to have him collaborating with Maleficent even if his movie is kinda bleh-to-meh.

Totally depends on what worlds we get and where they go with the world: atm I think we can assume the following:

1) Rock Titan

2) Mother Gothel

3) Baymax 1.0 Corrupted

 

Next few are villains who I think have a high chance of appearing, these are:

1) John Silver ( Treasure Planet)- with the twist of him being redeemed at the end like in the film

2) Hans ( Frozen)

3) Sid/Zurg depending on what film ( Toy Story/TS2)

4) Shere Khan ( The Jungle Book)

5) Darth Vader ( Star Wars)

It's entirely possible, and no, King Candy/Turbo is a Disney character, he's not third party.

Yes. To be fair, they can change his personality to be more fitting for Kingdom Hearts.
