The Legend of Zelda: Wrath of the Dark Fairy (Roleplay)

Posted

"Those low-lives think we're meant to be trapped in jars....I'll show them! By ridding this entire land to nothing but fairies! And I will be the Queen! Queen and ruler of all fairies!"

Those were the words of the Dark Fairy, revealing her viscous plot. Peace had been going on in Hyrule until she rose up. And the Dark Fairy has been causing nothing but trouble and havoc in order to get her revenge on all other creatures....Especially Hylians.

Monsters have been appearing more rapidly, lands are being cursed with dark magic....This has gone long enough.

Princess Zelda was facing the window in the throne room with a look of worry. This conflict has to end somehow. Something must be done. There was only one way to stop this madness. She nodded to herself and quickly got pieces of paper, Royal Designed envelopes exclusive to Royalty, and a pen. She wrote down in each of the notes:

"Dear Warrior, I ask you desperately for help. A being known as the Dark Fairy has been causing nothing but destruction and havoc across Hyrule. If this goes on any longer, who knows what will happen....Please, I ask you! Come quickly to the Hyrule Castle where you will find me. The guards will let you through once you show them this letter. Other warriors will be joining you. I hope you will work together and get along well. I'll expect your arrivals.

From, Princess Zelda"

After writing these, she picked up the envelopes,  walked towards the open window, and let the wind blow them away, where they will find the warriors that will go on the journey...

"Speaking of storm..." Maxwell said with an ironic tone as he looked over at the cloud above the lake. quickly unsheating his longsword, "I guess we better get ready, Sara give magic support, Irisviel if you can fight, then help sara with your magic, or go in the front." "Speaking of storm..." Maxwell said with an ironic tone as he looked over at the cloud above the lake. quickly unsheating his longsword, "I guess we better get ready, Sara give magic support, Irisviel if you can fight, then help sara with your magic, or go in the front." Maxwell ordered, knowing full well his order would most likely go unheard. "Rabiyu, stay at range at them as they come through, Kai, you're with me in the frontlines." he ordered them as well, doing split second thinking at that moment.

"All right. You got it!" Kai said, pulling out his sword and shield, getting ready. "Wait!" Pierre said, waving back and forth. "It would not be wise to take on the storm like this."

"Why is that?" Kai asked. Then thunder made a loud, banging noise. The Dark cloud extended from the lake to the area, covering the warriors, Pierre, the building, everything that was on shore. Little bits of water starting to drop down, showering the group. The waves then started to get rough...Very rough. They clashed and rose, crashed and splashed, the waves were very violent. Lightning then flashed in the cloud. Quick glimpses of a white flash could be seen. Lightning could now be visible. One even struck very close to the group, creating sparks from the ground. Kai jumped back, trying to avoid the strike. "WOAH! Lightning!" He exclaimed. Huge waves went up and down. They raged over like it was a war. One huge wave rose up, coming close to shore, caused a HUGE splash on the ground! It nearly got the warriors, just barely, but not enough. Then...Octoroks. 3 Octoroks flew across the air and landed right in front of the heroes. "W-We can't fight like this. There's too much at risk. We can barely see through the darkness, giant waves might pull us in the water, and lightning may shock us!" Pixi quickly said. "We need to find shelter." Kai looked around and saw the building flash in light due to the lighting in the clouds. "To that building over there!" Kai yelled out.

(I apologize for this, but I can't point out where exactly we are at. I seriously last posted about the part with the group not being able to swim. KH45 said something about how Daka will be able to swim or something as well, but I'm struggling to understand where this is even going. I assume that we must find shelter.)

Daka saw the storm ahead, and when the thunder came down, along with the sky turning dark, and Octoroks jumping onto land, he quickly grabbed Irisviel's arm, and pulled her towards the building. "WahAah! (Sorry! We gotta move now!)" Daka wasn't even thinking about how Irisviel might've felt, but he was only looking out for her. Daka wanted to grow stronger bonds with his fellow allies, even if it meant doing it the painful way; the way that hurts him more than them.

Nox, who had been skulking in the shadows to watch her team mates, floated out ahead of the others and smashed one of the Octoroks into the ground with telekinesis.

"Get moving!" She barked. "I can keep you covered."

As she smacked another Octorok with her morphing hair to buy the others time, she made an annoyed face at the situation. She finally gets weather that lets her stand free of an individual shadow, and it still tries to kill her.

Rabiyu looked directly at the Twili while pointing her bow at the remaining monster.

"Don't try to play the hero." Rabiyu said calmly.

The remaining Octorok the turned in her direction before it began to shot rocks at her.

"Darn." She said as she jumped into the air. "This is getting annoying."

The ranger aimed and shot an arrow toward the octorok, hitting it directly in one of it's eyes.

"I think that will slow it down for awhile." Rabiyu said. "Alright everyone, let's go to that building!"

"Yes, mam!" Nora replied to Rabiyu with a smile. There was no point in waiting for the others to go first, if they all sat there talking about how they needed to go, they would all be equally dead... But, civilians first. Pierre was stuck there, but it looked like the monsters and waves would reach the scarecrow at any moment, so Nora grabbed on to the straw man and pulled up as hard as she could, after a few seconds she managed to uproot his post. She would have just cut it, but she was afraid that might hurt him. "Sorry, Mr. Pierre." She didn't want to have to move him like this, but it was better than letting him get smashed to pieces. Then she took off running towards the building, scarecrow under one arm and sword in the other. If anything tried to stop them from reaching shelter, she would take it out.

Maxwell gritted his teeth, "Damn, alright lets get out of here" He said as he began to fall back alongside the group, while keeping the Octoroks at bay with some regular crossbow bolts, but that wasn't exactly gonna stop them all, but it would stop one or two, possibly even kill one with a good hit.

Seeing Nox throwing some octoroks back, he was actually glad to have a twili on the team, although they would only appear in shadows, they were still pretty strong, either way, he kept his ground moving towards the building.

(I'll note that Sabre Lily mentioned the bit in here regarding Irisviel, and he was okay with me putting it in my post. So yeah)

Sara would have stayed to fight the Octoroks, but given that the other warriors couldn't seem to do much to damage them, she figured she'd be best off running. She ran towards the buildings with the others. She noticed that Irisviel seemed a little angry after being taken away by the Deku Scrub... She decided to grab her other arm, hoping that would at least calm her down a little bit. Given that some others were trying to hold back the Octoroks as everyone else charged ahead, she hoped that would help everyone get to shelter safely.

"Come on! Come on! Hurry!" Pixi said, flying in front of the door. Once everyone made it, Kai quickly tried to open the door, but it was locked. "No, no, no! Please open." Kai said, sounding worried. Then suddenly, the door opened from the other side. It was like another person opened it.

"Come in. Quickly!" An old voice said from inside. Kai didn't hesitate. He went in along with the others.

Inside, the whole room was dark. The loud bangs of thunder could be heard from outside. The squeaks of wet shoes would repeat as the group walked in. "Where are we?" Pixi said out loud. Just at that moment, the lights turned on revealing everything that was inside. Containers of chemicals could be seen on a table. On the left side on the entrance, a large container holding a frozen Octorok, which scared Pixi, was shown. A wooden boat was hanging from the cieling above the Warriors. A green book with a Shiekah symbol was laying in a chair. A little map of Lake Hylia could be seen on the right wall. And straight ahead, a pool of water is visible. Stairs were shown on the right side of the wall, leading to rails that could be stood on. Windows were up there as well.

"Welcome to my Lakeside Labratory." An old voice said, standing on the rails and staring down at the Warriors. He appeared to be old, as his face was....Slightly twisted. He was a bit short for his age. "I am the scientist of the Labratory. Call me Dr. Mew."

Irisviel nearly chopped the Deku sprout into a Cesar Salad. But Sara gripping her oher arm stayed her blade, mostly due to the fact Sara healed her.

She'd kill her last.

Ripping her arms rudely from the two, she stomped over to a corner and sat down.

She hated being touched.

Rabiyu was staring at the frozen octorok while at the same time glancing at Irisviel.

"Now this is something else." She said as she poked the container.

The Ranger then heard the voice of the old scientist.

"Rabiyu. A pleasure." She said. "Say Doctor...do you have any theory about the strange phenomena occurring in the lake as of late."

The white haired girl turned around to look at the Doctor.

"Any information would be valuable."

"Pleasure to meet you as well." Dr. Mew was making his way to the stairs while he talk. "As for an explanation, the only one that comes into mind is one of those dark curses..." Kai raised his eyebrows at Dr. Mew. "Wait...Are you saying that you know about the Dark Fairy as well?" He asked. "But of course. She did make an appearance at the lake not too long ago. Only a few weeks or a month." He walked down the stairs to confront the Warriors. "That must be another reason why there are much more Octoroks appearing around the lake." He also stated.

Daka stepped back after Irisviel swatted his arm. He couldn't understand what she went through in her past, but he wanted to make friends with everyone, even if it was to be loathed for reasons left to only Irisviel to know. "..." Daka was troubled, but he wanted to get over it for now, so he asked Dr. Mew more about the Dark Fairy. "WaaRaah Nooh. (Thank you, Dr. Mew for housing us.) Waah Ne Wee Aah. (Did she do something to the Temple?)" Daka asked.

"Daka asked if the Dark Fairy did anything to the temple." Pixi said, translating what the Deku Scrub said.

"No...But the Zoras...My kind...They sealed the Temple's entrance." A feminine voice echoed. Just then, becoming visible from with a splash, a white and aquatic creature was floating inside the pool. Her head and arms were above the water while the rest of her body was keeping her afloat in the pool.

"I am Aqua, The Princess of Zoras. I assume you've come here because of the storm, correct?" She asked.

(Shall post tomorrow, for now. Sleep)

(So wait, what is Dr. Mew? Is he a Zora? Or another human character?)Daka was a little startled, since he had barely noticed there was a pool inside the building they were in. Daka turned to see Aqua, and he responded to her question. "Waah! (Waah!) Wo, waah Zora. (Oh, a Zora.) Wee naa hooAhh. (Yes, we came because of the storm.)" Daka nodded. He then looked around for a chair to sit in and sat in it, for they had walked for surely more than a few miles. He kept his attention on Princess Aqua's Words.

(I will be unavailable for the rest of the night, maybe tomorrow too. My mother is not feeling good and I will take her to see a doctor.)

"Correct" Maxwell answered the princess as he looked around a bit more, still coming to gripes how the heck did Dr.Mew managed to keep a lab around the lake, but he didn't ponder too much about it as he looked at Mew and then at the princess.

"I hate to ask this, but we need to get into the temple to acquire the fairy's help there, its the only way to stop the dark fairy from causing any more havoc..." Maxwell explained before looking at Dr. Mew, "You wouldn't happen to have diving gear would you? can't exactly breathe underwater, or swim with this much armor on in fact..." Maxwell said with a sigh.

The Zora slowly nodded her head. "Of course. But I'm afraid it won't be much use at the moment..." Aqua swam and climbed out of the pool. With her full body visible, it could be seen that she was a teenaged Zora. About the Zora age of a 17 year old to be exact. The female Zora stood in front the pool, facing the group. "You see, the reason why the temple won't open from the lake was because of this. These sudden storms that last for a period of time." She looked up at the window as lightning flashed from it. Another loud bang of thunder could be heard. "Especially with the large population of the Octoroks. My people were afraid that they would cause trouble and invade the temple. It seemed to be the safest thing to do until these storms stopped appearing." Aqua looked back to the warriors.

"Woah...A real Zora..." Kai whispered to himself in amazement. He would have liked to ask many questions about the race, but now wasn't the time. But he did decide to ask one question. "So, what are you doing here? In Lake Hylia instead of with the other Zoras?" He asked.

"I came to Lake Hylia because of the recent Octorok invasion in the Zora's Domain. My father ordered me to run away until they were rid of all of them. Since then, I haven't heard a single word about them. I couldn't even go back from underwater because they blocked that entrance as well...Since then, I decided to investigate what was causing these Octoroks to appear more rapidly. Such bitter luck and timing caused me to flee here with Dr. Mew."

Pixi then flew out and stopped in front of Aqua. "I guess the storm caught you too."

Aqua nodded. "Unfortunately. Every time I would attempt to leave lab, it would appear at the last second. I haven't been able to go back to the domain for weeks." Her expression became worried. Thinking about how the other Zoras were doing, what was happening, how worried her father must be....She was getting home-sick.

Nora set down the uprooted scarecrow, propping him against the wall so he could see and apologizing quietly, before moving up beside the others. She smiled as the princess explained her predicament. They could accomplish their mission and help someone at the same time! "It seems our goals align with yours, your majesty. We need to reach the temple, which will only happen if we get rid of the Octoroks, and you need to get home and make sure your family is safe, which has the same requirements. Do you know of any way that we could end this curse, any patterns or abnormalities, aside from the storms and monsters?"

Sara would have been bothered by Irisviel seemingly getting mad at both her and Daka for trying to help her out, but she assumed that not being yelled at meant that Irisviel might not be as mad as she could have been in that situation. Sara decided to just listen to Dr. Mew and Aqua's explanation of their situation. Hearing that they would have a way down to the underwater temple was a relief, but of course, the storm added another obstacle. "If there is anything we can do to drive the Octoroks away, I would be happy to help you out." She smiled, seemingly more concerned with their own issues than the quest she'd been given. She didn't want to let anyone down, even though she knew the importance of the mission that the princess had given her and the others.

Princess Aqua looked towards the Warriors who were offering to help her out. "You mean...You are willing to get me back home?" She said.

Kai then smiled at the aquatic female and put his arms behind his head, looking relaxed now. "Sure! Why not? You are a princess after all who is in need of help." He said.

"Hey, I've got an idea. Let's escort Princess Aqua back home. You know, so she won't get hurt." Pixi suggested. Daka nodded at the idea. If there was someone who needed help, do everything you can to help that person.

Aqua began to smile as they were agreeing to aid her as she was in need. "Oh thank you! Thank you! I promise to repay you in some way."

Dr. Mew had made his way downstairs. He was slowly walking towards the uprooted scarecrow Pierre. "Oh? I see that you have also helped the scarecrow out as well." He commented.

"Yeah! If it wasn't for that girl, I could've been a very wet one too!" Pierre replied. "Well, we are glad that didn't happen. Eh, you. The Deku Scrub." He pointed to Daka, "Would you mind helping me move Pierre to a place more suitable for him?"

Daka nodded. "Wah Wah ne. (Sure! No problem!)" Daka the ran over to Pierre and picked him up. Dr. Mew then walked forward, leading Daka and Pierre near his study table where there was a little square box that had the same ground features as the scarecrow's place was outside. Daka then placed Pierre in it and then he, the scarecrow, began to move around. "Yeah! It feels just like the one outside!" He exclaimed.

Irisviel stood up and dusted herself off, before limping over to Sara. She looked pissed as always.

"You." She...carefully pulled her to the side. "I tweaked my ankle being pulled unceremoniously by the little scrub. Can you carry me on your back for awhile, so it will not become a problem?"

She looked absolutely furious at needing asssistance.

Rabiyu was listening to the conversation while wondering the next course of action. Once she came back from the deeps of her mind everyone was happy to help the Zora Princess.

"It seems that way Princess." Rabiyu said. "We will take you back home. We just have to wait until the storm is over."

"I'm afraid I might have to reveal some bitter news..." Dr. Mew began to say. "As far as the way I see it and according to my calculations, this storm in particular may stick around for the rest of today." He stated.

"What?? Really? Aww man..." Kai said, making a dissapointed face and then sitting down on the ground criss-crossed. "Well this stinks."

Pixi flew over to Kai, flying next to his left ear. "It won't be that bad, Kai. Think of it this way. Tomorrow, early in morning so we can beat the storm, we'll go to the Zora Domain to get Princess Aqua home and find a way in the temple. Sound good?" She said. Kai took a moment to answer, then looked at Pixi and smiled. "It's a deal!" He said.

Aqua nodded then turned around. With no hesitation, she jumped up and dove back in the pool with a splash.

Seems like the heroes are going to have to stay here until morning.
