The Legend of Zelda: Wrath of the Dark Fairy (Roleplay)

Posted

"Those low-lives think we're meant to be trapped in jars....I'll show them! By ridding this entire land to nothing but fairies! And I will be the Queen! Queen and ruler of all fairies!"

Those were the words of the Dark Fairy, revealing her viscous plot. Peace had been going on in Hyrule until she rose up. And the Dark Fairy has been causing nothing but trouble and havoc in order to get her revenge on all other creatures....Especially Hylians.

Monsters have been appearing more rapidly, lands are being cursed with dark magic....This has gone long enough.

Princess Zelda was facing the window in the throne room with a look of worry. This conflict has to end somehow. Something must be done. There was only one way to stop this madness. She nodded to herself and quickly got pieces of paper, Royal Designed envelopes exclusive to Royalty, and a pen. She wrote down in each of the notes:

"Dear Warrior, I ask you desperately for help. A being known as the Dark Fairy has been causing nothing but destruction and havoc across Hyrule. If this goes on any longer, who knows what will happen....Please, I ask you! Come quickly to the Hyrule Castle where you will find me. The guards will let you through once you show them this letter. Other warriors will be joining you. I hope you will work together and get along well. I'll expect your arrivals.

From, Princess Zelda"

After writing these, she picked up the envelopes,  walked towards the open window, and let the wind blow them away, where they will find the warriors that will go on the journey...

Rabiyu nodded at the fairy and gave a small smile.

"It is wise to listen to your fairy, Kai" she said as she once again ruffled the young Kokiri's hair. "The Hero of legend often listened to his guardian fairy."

The Ranger went to a nearby wall and sat down in the floor, she then took her harp out and began to play a calm tune. A tune that made her remember a long, almost forgotten past.

After Irisviel pulled her to the side, Sara seemed happy at the idea of the girl asking her for help. "Of course! I would love to assist you." She grinned. However, after hearing that they'd probably end up having to spend the night inside, she realized that might not be necessary. She decided to inform Irisviel of that change. "If we stay inside, I do not think you would need help being carried around. If you ever need any help, please let me know. I would be happy to help with anything." She felt like she was finally making progress with her new friend. After all, the girl had nicely asked her for assistance earlier. That meant that she was doing well, right?

(Will post when I get home. Subways are blocked. Gotta walk home. Just have Maxwell help, bo biggie)

Nox sulked in a shadowy corner. Rabiyu telling her not to play the hero annoyed her. As if! Nox prided herself in knowing what she was, and she was no hero. That's what she had some of these dimwits for. The introduction of the doctor and the Zora Princess were observed, but uncommented upon by the imp. She had guessed other kingdoms would be adversely effected by the Dark Fairy, so the Zora Princess's tale didn't surprise her. Dr. Mew saying that the storm would rage all day did annoy her. Nox felt confident she could make it through the storm unscathed, but the others didn't have her mobility. If she didn't need them, she'd have left them behind.

Finally admitting that she stuck for now, Nox floated over to Rabiyu. She landed daintily on her feet, then crossed her arms.

"So, what's your story?" She asked, her eyes narrowing on the Ranger.

"Well this puts a dent in our plans" Maxwell said with a sigh as he leaned his back against a wall, "We set out in the morning I guess...this is just the time to chat and get to know others better..." he muttered as he left his weapons and equipment in the corner, knowing they'd be safe, and he could honestly do without some armor right now, having only a lightweight leather best which covered only his chest, he walked over to Rabyiu before the girl was approached by Nox, who he was just as curious over her story.

He waited for what Rabyiu had to say.

Kai chuckled once again as Rabiyu ruffled his hair. It was like a little chuckle trigger for him. "I will." He responded and nodded. The boy then stood up and went with the others surrounding Rabiyu as she was playing her song. He sat down and watched with a smile. Pierre, meanwhile, swayed back and forth to the music. He did really love music, even as a scarecrow. Pixi meanwhile made a small yawning sound and slowly descended down on top of Kai's hat. "Huh? Are you tired Pixi?" He asked his fairy friend. "Feels like it. I think I'll turn in early. That's enough excitement for me in one day." She said before lazily flying back up. Kai then took off his hat and turned it upside down for Pixi to rest. She made another yawn. "Night Kai." Pixi slowly descended in the hat, which Kai then laid down the hat on the ground next to him, with Pixi poking out of the bottom of it like it was a green blanket.

Iri grimaced. Then she realized that, she was in fact shivering. She looked away from Sara.

"I am cold. Can you help with that?" She asked, with extreme annoyances and hatred if her need for assistance from this...big-breasted airhead.

Rabiyu kept playing her harp while pondering the question asked by the Twili Imp."Interesting question." Rabiyu said without taking her eyes from Nox. "But that depends on which story you want to know about."The Ranger cocked her head, a curious look on her face."For the time being I'm just the ranger of the Lost Woods. Helping the unfortunate souls who get lost." She said calmly. "If you ask for further in the past, then I was a...how is it called nowadays...? A judge? Keep going back and I was a traveler, further back and I was a knight."Rabiyu nodded as if having a revelation."I'm here to help people. My mission was given to me by Her Grace." she said. "I'm waiting for someone, a pair to be exact, or perhaps a trio? The cycle is destined to repeat itself after a certain amount of time."The white haired girl closed her eyes, making it obvious that she was over with her story."What about you?" Rabiyu asked, her eyes opening, making it look as if she was older than she looked.. "The last time I heard from a Twili in this realm was a long time ago. The Twilight Princess if I recall correctly. Are you a descendant of hers?"

"Sure!" Sara smiled at Irisviel, happy that the girl seemed to not be quite as angry with her as she had been before. "I do not have any sort of spells to help you become more resistant to the cold..." She remembered that the girl didn't seem very happy when Sara tried to grab on to her earlier... She might not want any form of contact. Sara tried to think of how she could keep Irisviel warm...

Nox looked unimpressed by Rabiyu's short account of her life, but that was just the facade she left up. Parts of it concerned her greatly. How old was this ranger? And was Nox getting the right connotation by "Her Grace"?

Nox wanted to press some of these questions, but Rabiyu appeared to have ended the topic. Still, it was a start. And the Twili knew how to watch for pieces and putting them together. She turned to go back to her dark corner, but stopped when Rabiyu asked her question. Nox had been half expecting this, though she had been hoping for a general ignorance about Queen Midna's...trip to this realm from her companions. Still she had planned on this question being asked. And the truth here meant keeping track of one less lie.

"No." She said, barely turning back to face Rabiyu. "I am not a descendant of who you refer to as the Twilight Princess."

"It would have been interesting to meet the Twilight Princess personally."

The Ranger then nodded slowly.

"A shame. It seems that I never had the chance." She said distantly, mostly to herself instead than the others.

Once again the white haired girl dived into the deeps of her mind.

"I should've been able to retrieve the Mirror of Twilight for safe keeping, but it must be sand by now...spread all over the desert."

Rabiyu sighed and huffed.

"Another artifact from the Golden Sisters that I can't retrieve."

Kai took a long look at Nox. She was unlike anything the Kokiri had ever seen before. And what was this Twilight Princess? Is she real? Was she a myth? He didn't really know. But one thing that stood out to him that she was a bit...Distant. He was becoming curious about Nox. He looked back at Pixi who was sleeping in his hat peacefully. Kai carefully picked up the hat with Pixi inside and slowly walked over to Rabiyu, not hoping to drop it. "Here. Watch Pixi for me. I'll be right back." He said. He laid the hat on the floor next to the ranger. Kai then turned and walked over to the Twili Imp, wanting to talk to her. "Hey um...I just gotta say...You're pretty cool! The way you handled those Octoroks back there was just amazing! Heh heh!" He put just hands behind his head with a smile. "Anyways, thanks for helping us out in the storm back there. I don't what we would do with out you. And just between you and me..." He took a quick glance at Iris then looked back at Nox and whispered. "You're more nicer and a little friendlier than that other girl. Just saying." He hands then went down from the back of his head and one of them extended to Nox, offering a handshake. "I really hope we can good allies and friends. Best friends. Heh heh!" He said with a smile. "Would you like to be my friend Ms. Nox?"

Nora smiled at the scarecrow as he experimented with his new surroundings. He was a nice civilian, and she was very glad he hadn't been doused, smashed, or electrocuted. Then she turned back toward Dr, Mew as he continued to speak. An entire day?! They didn't have that much time to spare... "Excuse me, Doctor," she asked quietly as the others dispersed, "but do you know of any way we could head out before the day is up? Maybe we could go out once the storm starts weakening, or find a song or spell that works against it? We are on a rather tight schedule right now," 'end-of-the-world-if-you-don't-finish-in-time tight level of tight schedule...' She thought, "And it would probably be best to leave as soon as possible, not to mention, we wouldn't want to impose on you."

Dr. Mew sighed and looked out the window. " I'm terribly sorry about this, but I've studied the storms that have been occurring throughout the days and weeks based on time and length. And it seems that this storm might last all day." He stated. Princess Aqua then rose back up from underwater in the pool. "The fairy's magic seems to be very powerful. I doubt we have anything to rival that kind of dark magic." She said before going back underwater. "But look on the bright side! It won't be that long till the end of the day! It was only evening once you got to the lake." Pierre said, waving back and forth.(Just to clarify, it was in the afternoon when the journey started. Trust me. The time during the day won't be as fast as the games. xD )

Irisviel groaned annoyance and pressed against Sara, sharing body warmth. She let out a soft sigh.

"You may touch me this once, since you healed me. Any other time and you most likely will lose your head." She stated clearly.

Maxwell couldn't help but overhear Rabyiu's previous statement, and he decided to ask her.

"Hey Rabyiu, I can't help but notice, that you sometimes ramble about some random stuff...I got nothing against that, but Im curious, what do you mean about these artifacts?" Maxwell couldn't help but ask, his curiosity taking the best of him, he tried his best not to be intrusive or rude, but he had to ask.

He glanced over at the others, specially Saki trying to befriend Nox, well, getting along with everyone should be the number one priority right now, since they couldn't exactly get out right now, unfortunately, a campfire would be perfect, the lab was indeed quite cold.

"Rambling?" She asked. "Yes...that does happen...sometimes...more often than not."

The Ranger was slowly bobbing her head, along with the tune of her harp.

"Artifacts made by the Golden Sisters are quite rare." She said. "There are mentions of them throughout Hyrule's history. The Mirror of Twilight is but one of many. The most important one would be the Golden Power, or the Triforce as most people knows it."

Rabiyu then looked at Maxwell, a calm look on her face.

"Those items are powerful magical artifacts, they must not fall in the wrong hands...don't you think?"

Sara smiled. "I understand, Irisviel. You will not need to worry about me touching you ever again." She promised. "Are you feeling warmer now?" She asked, hoping that the girl was in better condition.

She also silently observed the others while talking with Irisviel. Even though she was spending more time with just one of her comrades, she did eventually want to get to know all of them. She decided that she'd have to learn more about them soon. She was busy helping Irisviel at the moment, after all.

Nox noted the past tense Rabiyu used for some of her statements. "It seems that i never had the chance" was of particular interest. At least the Mirror was still not a factor.

The Imp had made it to her corner when Kai caught up to her. As she listened to him with a neutral expression on her face, she cringed inside. He actually seemed to like her and wanted to be friends. She should use that to her advantage, use it as a leverage to make sure he acts like she would need him, but...looking into his eyes, she couldn't. She had to give him the honest answer.

"No." Nox answered Kai. "I am not your friend. I can be your ally, but not your friend. Trust me, kid. I'm not a good friend. Too much baggage."

"I'd rather have those items never reach the hands of anyone, they're far better off hidden or kept locked away if you ask me..." Maxwell gave his opinion about the artifacts, he also noticed Rabyiu did enjoy that harp of hers, he wasn't exactly gonna criticize her, as he respected her choice of music.

"Say, you don't think the tri-force is gonna have a role to play in all this with the dark fairy do you?" Maxwell theorized...with one hand to his chin, "Probably a little early to think about it..." he said.

"Some are well hidden." Rabiyu said. "Unable to be found again. Unless the Sisters deem them necessary."The Ranger stopped playing her harp once the last note of her song was played."Unlikely." Was her answer. "The whereabouts of the Triforce pieces is unknown."Rabiyu put the harp on her knees and stretched."Din's blessing was lost centuries ago when the King of Thieves was defeated by the Hero of Twilight." She said matter of factly. "Farore's blessing was in possession of the Hero who, I suppose, passed it through his bloodline, I am not sure of it."The white haired girl covered herself with her cloak."And finally Nayru's blessing was in possession of the Princess of Hyrule. Legend says the she gave the relic to someone to protect it, until the time when its new bearer appeared."

Irisviel nodded.

"I'm warm. Thank you."

Then the girl changed her mind...Sara was being very...outgoing...so, Irisviel...well, she might as well...not be a bitch this once, and give the girl some slack. She was warm and really nice, nice enough...that Iris had to admit.

Her ice heart dripped. Twice.

"I'm still a bit cold, to be honest..."

Sara was happy to hear Irisviel sound a little kinder than usual. "You're welcome!" She smiled. After hearing that Irisviel was still a little cold, she decided that she'd help even more. She hugged Irisviel tightly, hoping that would help to warm her up a bit. "How about now? Is this better?" She asked, not realizing that she was possibly suffocating the poor girl.

The boy tilted his head in wondering why this little...Um..."Girl" thought this way. It didn't really come to him that she wanted to be alone, but he didn't care. The happy-go-lucky smile soon returned. "Well, you may not be my friend...But I'll be your friend! No matter what. Heh heh!" Kai shook Nox's hand anyway and walked to other way. "So what time is it anyway?" He asked."2:20" Dr. Mew answered."To me, that's still a little while." Kai responded. "Hey, I know! How's about a little music to make things more lively?" Pierre suggested. Kai's expression brightened up when Pierre suggested that. He ran up in front of the scarecrow. "Great idea, Pierre! I've got just the song!" Kai ran to his hat, kneeled down, and carefully moved his hand in the hat, for Pixi was still sleeping in it. His hand slowly came back out and he raised his green piccolo in the air."AW SWEET! Think you can play a cool beat, kid?" Pierre said, waving back and forth. "Oh, I've got the perfect beat!" Kai said, walking in front of the scarecrow. Kai raised to green piccolo to his mouth and played the starting note. After a moment.......The Kokiri boy played the iconic Saria's Song."Oh yeah! That's my jam! Hah hah!" The music loving scarecrow said, waving back and forth to the beat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMg8wUer4mg(Everybody better dance to this song! xD How can you not? It's so upbeat! But you don't have to. Just a joke! xD)

"Lets hope they stay like that then." Maxwell said to Rabyiu as he hoped the pieces wouldn't fall into the wrong hands, because if they did, they mind as well not even go on this mission since everything will go to hell, he simply examined what was going around, kai began to play a song, which just made Maxwell realize how much he himself sucked at singing and playing.

He also noticed Sara and irisviel, which to him, it seemed like they were cuddling. "Those two got close a bit too fast, don't you think?" Maxwell muttered to Rabyiu.
