The Legend of Zelda: Wrath of the Dark Fairy (Roleplay)

Posted

"Those low-lives think we're meant to be trapped in jars....I'll show them! By ridding this entire land to nothing but fairies! And I will be the Queen! Queen and ruler of all fairies!"

Those were the words of the Dark Fairy, revealing her viscous plot. Peace had been going on in Hyrule until she rose up. And the Dark Fairy has been causing nothing but trouble and havoc in order to get her revenge on all other creatures....Especially Hylians.

Monsters have been appearing more rapidly, lands are being cursed with dark magic....This has gone long enough.

Princess Zelda was facing the window in the throne room with a look of worry. This conflict has to end somehow. Something must be done. There was only one way to stop this madness. She nodded to herself and quickly got pieces of paper, Royal Designed envelopes exclusive to Royalty, and a pen. She wrote down in each of the notes:

"Dear Warrior, I ask you desperately for help. A being known as the Dark Fairy has been causing nothing but destruction and havoc across Hyrule. If this goes on any longer, who knows what will happen....Please, I ask you! Come quickly to the Hyrule Castle where you will find me. The guards will let you through once you show them this letter. Other warriors will be joining you. I hope you will work together and get along well. I'll expect your arrivals.

From, Princess Zelda"

After writing these, she picked up the envelopes,  walked towards the open window, and let the wind blow them away, where they will find the warriors that will go on the journey...

Aqua nodded to the Twilli that hid in her shadow. She slowly opened the door to take another look outside. She took a deep breath...Then stepped outside.

"Now or never..." She whispered under her breath. Taking one step closer to the sleeping Octoroks, The princess made some sort of starting pose like in a figure-skating performance or a ballet dance. And now...Her performance began.

The Princess of Zoras first leaped over the first three Octoroks with great balance. She danced around the field with each step on her toes with such grace, landing between each tentacle and head of the squid monsters, even the smallest cracks were no match with Aqua's skills. She twirled around a few times, performing many ballet moves and tricks. For the finale, the Princess' feet were making very quick work, avoiding every step that could be dangerous. And now, being in the right spot for Nox to place the bombs, she held a pose between 2 Octoroks. Her balance could not be more perfect, but how long she could hold was a concern.

"Okay...You're in position. Do what you must, Nox." She whispered.

(Now Kingdom Key D has asked me to control Nora so....)

Nora watched in amazement as she saw Aqua moved so swiftly around the Octoroks. She couldn't believe that the Princess even offered to risk her safety to help their team get to their destination. "Wow....The Princess of Zoras is....Wow...I never knew she had such grace." She whispered to the others.

"Impressive." Rabiyu said. "Now let's wait for the moment to strike."

The Ranger had her bow ready, an arrow resting on her hand.

"Common of Zoras, they are all graceful in their movements, the princess is no exception..." Maxwell said with a small smile as he looked at the scene, slowly unsheating his greatsword, to take out the stragglers of the explosions.

From Aqua's shadow, Nox grinned. Explosions might involve light, but, by the Mask, they were fun. She held up the bomb as her hair snaked forward, forming a hand and grasping the bomb.

"Better dance away, Zora." She chuckled. "Things are about to get loud."

Tossing the bomb lightly to the ideal spot, Nox laughed again.

The clock was ticking away.

Nox was right. Aqua needed to move fast.

19, 18, 17, 16....

The Princess of Zoras broke out of her pose and quickly danced and leaped through the sleeping Octoroks.

12, 11, 10, 9...

Aqua hurried as fast as she could to get out of this danger zone. Soon, after a leap over three sleeping Octoroks. She quickly ran back inside where she reunited with the others. "Are you alright Princess?" Pixi asked. "I'm perfectly fine Pixi." She replied.

"Guys....Here it comes..." Kai whispered.

4, 3, 2, 1......

KABOOM!

Many Octoroks went flying through the air by the explosion. And thanks to the loud sound of it, some Octoroks were starting to wake up....About 17 were bombed and the rest were waking up.

"Here we go..." Maxwell said as he tightened his grip on his greatsword, looking for the best targets to attack, the octoroks while waking up, were obviously still dizzy from such a rude awakening, giving them an advantage. Maxwell ran forward, at a group of four octoroks, and with a heavy slash, two were down, using the momentum of the slash for a spin, quickly slamming his blade hard on an octo's head, while the remaining one tried to shoot him, hitting an armored part of his armor, as Maxwell barely flinshed, as he finished it off with a upward slash.

"Now's the time people!" he shouted.

"This is such a nice way to start the day." Rabiyu said. "Here we go."

The Ranger quickly got two arrows ready, and once she was outside she fired at the eyes of the farthest octorock, leaving it completely blind.

"Stay still." She said as she used another arrow to stab the nearest monster between its eyes. "And there is one down."

The young Ranger felt something approaching, a projectile from one of the other monsters was coming her way. She made a quick twirl while getting an arrow ready and shot the attacker in its head.

Irisviel stepped out amongst the carnage, drawing the war naginata called Thornscar and channeling her rage. It glowed a dark purple, and she slashed, sending tendrils that grabbed two octoroks and threw them skywards. As they flailed, Irisviel reversue gripped her weapon and a ball of darkness appeared on the hilt. She mimed picking it up, then fired it right at the two.

Her magic blasted them apart, and she lowered her hand to look at the others, who continued to fight. She returned Thornscar to normal and kicked off, slashing a third Octorok until it disappeared.

At least these amateurs knew a threat had to be eliminated at once.

"Thanks for the ride." Nox told Aqua as she jumped shadows to Kai's. "Though if you want to stay unharmed, more dancing might actually help."

She smacked Kai's leg with the back of her hand.

"Let's go!" She snapped. "We're running low on enemies."

Sara was relieved that the plan to eliminate most of the Octoroks worked. Of course, she still had a little work to do, and she didn't want to fall behind the others this time. She noticed an Ocotrok marching straight towards her. I will take care of that one! She quickly drew her rod and held it out towards the eight-legged monster. A ball of fire burst from the rod and moved towards the creature, incinerating it instantly. She was pleased with the result. Thankfully, her magic was proving useful.

"EE-YOUCH!" Kai jumped up and down reacting to Nox smacking his leg. He hopped on one foot holding while moving outside. "Ai-Ai-Ai, okay, okay! You're pretty pushy." He commented. Nora meanwhile snuck a little giggle at the Kokiri boy. But now wasn't the time for humorous amusement. The objective was to get rid of these Octoroks. She unsheathed her sword and dashed outside. But once the two, well counting Pixi, the three of the got outside, it seemed like there weren't anymore to defeat. Most of them were bombed and defeated. "So...Is that it?" Ki questioned. But Nora sensed a presence. She turned around and looked above Kai to a rock projectile was heading straight at him from above.

"Kai, stay down!" Nora yelled. She jumped up and slashed the rock away from the Kokiri's head. Kai immediately kneeled down and covered his head when Nora jumped over him. She landed kneeling down. She soon stood up and looked at Kai. "Are you alright?" She asked. Kai looked up and blinked, then stood up and nodded. Nora then faced her direction to the roof of Dr. Mew's Laboratory building, where five Octorok shadows stood. They suddenly jumped off and were descending down at the Warriors. "Incoming!" Nora yelled out as she jumped up and slashed one Octorok to the right, making it go up in dark smoke. The rest landed and shot at the warriors. Kai put up his shield and pushed the projectile back at the Octorok. He then jumped forward at it and slashed down on it, destroying the squid.

Irisviel turned, almost lazily, and slashed one rock intwo. As the remains impcted the ground around her, dark fire erupted from her hand, smashing into the second Octorok and blasting it to nothing more then whispy smoke. She was breathing heavy - such dark magic took it's toll on her, and she needed to pace herself better...or she'd have to rely on that airheaded bimbo with the boobs to carry her, and she wasn't in the mood to be carrier around.

With most of the nemies already defeated Rabiyu was slowing down."We are almost done." She said. "We should be-"At that time a rock projectile was flying her way. The Ranger jumped and spin in the air while getting an arrow ready."That was close. Take this!"The young Ranger then landed and shot at one of the remaining octoroks, killing it with a single strike."Alright, let's wrap this up."

Nox cackled as she grabbed a Octorok with her telekinetics then slammed it up and down on the ground in an almost comical manner.

"Let's see how you like being hit by a big rock." She yelled at the creature.

She held it up to see it limp, then tossed it away.

"Hey...Is it over?" Kai asked, not to anyone in particular. Nora turned around and looked around land. Wind and some breathing could only be heard at this time. Not a single Octorok in sight. She breathed in relief. No more squids here. "It's finished." She said smiling. "All clear." Kai blinked in response. Then his eyes started to light up. "Yay! We did it! No more Octoroks!" He said jumping in the air. "Says the boy that barely did anything during that fight." Pixi commented with her hands on her hips, flying in front of Kai.  "Well, I couldn't have any bombs. You guys said!" He stated. All the Humanoid fairy could do was sigh at her Kokiri friend and partner. "Well, at least we'll have a pleasant stroll to the Zora's Domain." She said. "Is everyone ready?"

Kai and Nora nodded to Pixi. Princess Aqua then walked outside, seeing that the battle was done. "I must comment that you are all skilled warriors in your own ways. I must thank you again for doing all of this." She said while walking outside. "It's the least we could do. We're all good guys here, one way or another." Kai said.

"Well.....Not all of us to be exact." Nora also commented.

"Anyways, we must get going. I need to see my people." The Princess of Zoras stated.

Irisviel was about to say she wasn't a good buy by any Hylian standard, but Nora said it. She fell silent...then felt herself grow warm.

Turning, she found Sara healing everyone up, just to be safe. She didn't need it...but it was a...kind gesture. And at the very least, she would be ready to return that gesture should the time come.

She sheathed Thronscar and moved closer to Sara, who actually seemed to get a bit excited when that happened.

((Shulk is away for thanksgiving so Ive been allowed to control his characters if needed.))

"We're all about ready to heat out I see." Maxwell said as he sheathed his blades, holstered his crossbow and resumed a normal composure, seeing the small argument between kai and his fairy friend made him chuckle a bit, as he Sara began healing him as well as the others, not that he needed it, but he appreciated it nonetheless, he was glad to have a healer in the team.

He looked over to the princess of Zoras and nodded, "The sooner we get there the sooner we can wrap the situation in the lake, lets get going." he said.

"Of course." Aqua then responded. Pixi then flew forward, going ahead of the team. She always wanted to act like the leader of team. Why? She liked to lead. "Well, come on! We're burning precious daylight here." She said. "Coming!" Kai answered as he began to run after his fairy with Nora and Princess Aqua running behind him, with the blue Zora's Pearl in her hand.

-Hyrule Field, 7:42-

As the Warriors continued on their way to get the Princess home to the Zoras, a unexpected action happened. Kai just remembered something. The obvious expression was shown on his face. "Oh!" He exclaimed as he stopped walking. Nora made a confused and curious look at the Kokiri boy. "Why the sudden "Oh!" Kai?" She asked. The boy made a nervous chuckle. "Um....Do you guys mind if I make a quick pitstop? It's something important to me..." He said. Pixi was curious as well. Something important? To Kai? This she had to know about. She flew in front of Kai's face. "How important exactly?" Pixi asked, looking interested. "More important than what we are doing right now? Like um....I don't know...Saving the world?" The boy was starting to look nervous. "It's...Personal..."

Okay, now Pixi REALLY wants to know. What is Kai hiding? "And that is....?"

"Um....I'll only be a moment, alright?" He said before starting to run away. "Wait Kai! Where are you going!?" Pixi yelled out. Kai didn't stop running. He instead turned his head to face the others with a smile. "I'll only be a moment! You guys go on!" He yelled back. "KAI!" His fairy yelled out. But he was already too far gone. Nora had her hand on her chin, suspicious about Kai's action. "What is up with that Forest Child? Anyone know where he's going?" She asked. "Even I don't know what he's planning...But with or without him, we have to keep going. He said he'll come back. I KNOW Kai will." Pixi stated before flying ahead. Little did she know that Kai was heading towards Lon Lon Ranch to meet someone...

While the rest of the group reasumed their way towards the Zora's home Rabiyu stayed, looking in the direction Kai went."I wonder." She thought. "Perhaps I should...not. Let him explore by himself, the others often did."The Ranger shook her head and followed her companions, keeping herself at the rear. Wondering what the young Kokiri was planning.

Nox subtly shifted from Kai's shadow to Irisviel's shadow when he mentioned he was going off. Her instincts told her to stay with the boy, learn his secrets, but, damn him, she was starting to like the kid. Maybe she wasn't cut out for this after all.

"How long have you two known each other?" Nox asked Pixi.

She then looked up and gave Irisviel a sharp grin.

Pixi turned around and faced Iris's shadow, flying backwards in a position like she was sitting down in a chair with her legs crossed. "Ever since the boy was born. I was assigned to him to be his fairy. To look out for him in case he gets into any trouble. Soon enough, we've become friends. Sure, we annoy each other, but still we stay friends. I just can't believe that he has some kind of secret that I don't know about..." She said, looking concerned. "I'm just wondering what he's doing now..." ~Lon Lon Ranch~ Kai was so relieved to be out of that situation. He ran on the trail to the Lon Lon Ranch, with a smile on his face. Kai was actually about to crack as he was being so nervous the whole time. He didn't want to reveal his secret to them. Not yet at least. But still, it worried him. How would the others trust him if he was hiding something from them? Were they wondering what he was doing that was so "important"? It was bothering him along the way. But his worries were soon forgotten as he made it to the entrance of the ranch. The wooden door was closed, but on the other side the ranch was filled with Cuccu and horses roaming all over the grass. One that caught Kai's eye was an orange horse with a white mane. But there was thing that stood out the most to the Kokiri. A girl with red hair and a long dress with her back facing Kai was singing to the animals. She had such a wonderful sounding voice, Kai couldn't help but lean on the door and sigh. He reached into his pocket, got out his green piccolo, and played a song that the girl would know...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeyqY8UPpus

The girl then turned around with her red hair swinging through the air. She seemed to be about 15, same as Kai, and she was a Hylian. Her face immediately brightened up once she saw the Kokiri. "Kai! You're here early!" She said to him. The red-haired girl then ran to the door and stopped, smiling at the blonde-haired Kokiri. "Good morning Malon." Kai said, greeting her. Malon giggled and opened the door for Kai to come in the ranch. "Good morning, my handsome green knight." She replied back. Malon kissed Kai's cheek, which caused him to blush brightly. This was his secret. Malon is Kai's girlfriend. But that's not all...

"Also..." Kai took off his hat and took out pretty white flowers for his red-haired sweetheart. He handed them to her to smell. "Happy 5th anniversary!"

"Oh Kai, you remembered!" She said, excited. She smelled the flowers happily with joy. "Aw, you're so sweet~." She said, kissing him on the cheek once again.

Sara had just about finished with her healing when she noticed Irisviel approach her. "Oh, hello!" She cheerfully greeted the young girl, happy that Irisviel had been the one to approach her this time. "Do you need any help with being healed? I still have plenty of magic power left to heal you if it is required." She smiled. She was happy that she'd managed to find a use for herself in the team, even if she wasn't the best at fighting. She was a little curious as to why Kai had run off on his own, but decided that he should go if he wanted to. If she was curious about what he was doing, she could always ask once he returned. For now, she needed to focus on preparing everyone for the next part of their journey.

"I don't think you should worry that much."Rabiyu said to the fairy, not that she wasn't curious about it."I'm sure that whatever it is, Kai will tell you in time."The Ranger then smiled gently."A little surprise to look forward to."On the inside Rabiyu had a slight pinch of curiosity about Kai and what he was doing, but just like past or future heroes, Kai had the right to keep his secrets. Otherwise it would have been hypocrisy to have secrets of her own. Secrets of ages past or future hiding in the Ranger's mind."We should focus on our current task. Take the Princess back home and the temple at Lake Hylia."

Nox watched after the direction Kai had run off to. She should have tagged along. Blast.

"Yeah, we'd better keep going." She said. "Better then waiting."

~Warriors~

"Yeah, I guess you guys are right. Let's keep going." Pixi said, turning around and continuing to lead the team. As the crew walked on, they would come across a river that was going the opposite way they were walking. Princess Aqua, holding the Zora's Pearl, looked at this river and recognized it. "This is Zora's River." She stated. "The Domain is just up ahead. Let's continue forward." A  tree could seen on top of a small slope that's in front of the travelers. Over that, over to the right would lead to what would look like a playground for any willing adventurer. They were many pillars standing in the water, hills to walk across and gaps to jump over. Just at the end, a large, gray door could be seen being showered by a waterfall. That would be the Zora's Domain.

"Our journey to the Zora's Domain is bound to be completed. Let's carry on." Nora said, already walking up to the slope. Once she got up there, she was rather amazed by the sight she was seeing.

How this would've been a perfect scene for that little Kokiri, she thought.
