Do you think that control scheme for Twilight Princess HD will be very similar to that of the wind waker HD's control scheme and what version of twilight princess do you think they are using for the HD remake.

Zelda WiiU news on Nov 2 and KH3 news the after? This is going to be the best week ever!

  • I love Twilight Princess, it's also my second favorite Zelda game along with Majoras Mask (probably because they're the more darker games in the Zelda series). And I don't think it's overrated at all

Update: the interview might be delayed to November 5

In before NX version.

That's probably what they meant by "games", and not TP HD. It would be the trolliest thing Nintendo does lol. Of course I doubt that, except the NX port. (Definitely going to happen.)

They said Zelda games for the wii u, not for the NX and wii u.

Because Nintendo has never pulled surprises during announcements, directs, etc.

just because the wii version of Twilight Princess can be played on the wii u, doesn't mean that it can't get an HD remaster/remake. Kingdom Hearts 1,2, and re chain of memories can all be played on the old version of the ps3, but then the remixes came on the newer AND older version of the ps3 so basically the ps2 versions of the kingdom hearts games I've mentioned earlier and the HD remixes ARE playable on the old ps3 .

When did I say they couldn't? Suprises as in them teasing about a NX port of the next Zelda title.

oh, sorry

hmmm... interesting

When you don't believe pictures anymore because Smashified.

Nope, not believing it. That Link render is obviously the one that was used at retailers.

Well if Twilight Princess HD is not a thing after this then Nintendo are the biggest trolls ever. This pretty much confirms it for me...unless its just photoshop made by some random guy,but according to André it came from Nintendo themselves so it has to be real and we saw that same image at Target I believe

This image is from nintendo themselves

If this image is real, then I guess I guess TPHD has been practically confirmed

The image is real, it was in with Nintendo's shareholder stuff yesterday.

Not 100% sure if it's from a Twilight Princess remake, but I don't think they'd just give Link a new render for no reason and it doesn't look like it fits in with Wii U!Zelda's art style, so...

do you think that they will include both versions of the game kinda like how oot 3d had a flipped master quest version. I think they will and they'll probably make the wii version the master quest version of the game if they decide to do that. I know a lot of you played the wii version of the game, but it is a fact that the game was originally for the gamecube (just because it can out on the wii console first doesn't mean that it is originally for the wii) so I think it would make sense if they used the gamecube version of the game for the main story.

Now I think you've gone further than with the RPG stories xD.

Anyway, staying on topic, yeah, I think they'll add the Master Quest version (I honestly thought it was a very good idea), and I really hope they do; it'll be a mistake if they didn't include it.

TP needs one, because it was really easy xD. But since it wasn't in the original, maybe it won't happen. They might add some little tidbits, but something one that scale might not happen. It would be amazing though and give people a good reason to buy TP again.

unless they have been working on a possible TPHD since WWHD got released.

If that's true, couldn't it look like the tech demo? That demo basically looked like an improved TP.

yeah, I agree with you on that one.

Well if that new Link render is anything to go by then it looks like Nintendo are going to be putting quite a bit of effort into this HD version. I wouldn't be surprised if they made a Master Quest mode!

I've always wanted to try Master Quest, never really had any of the ones with Master Quest in it though.

I think it's kinda pushing it if you think that the possible TPHD's going to release before the end of this year, but it's still a possibility because they DID say that they still have some games they want to release by the end of this year. I think TPHD, if it's a thing soon, will come out early next year because it's kind of logical especially if you think about how MM3d was announced and released.

I strongly believe it would be released before the end of this year.  Nintendo's holiday line-up is very bare-bones this year, so they would need a title like this in order to have something for people to be excited about.  Unless Nintendo announces something huge in the next few weeks, I would say that this game needs to be released by the end of the year if Nintendo wants to make money this holiday season.

I doubt it would be before the end of this year. If they wanted it to be an item to sell before the holidays start they would have released it before this month. I doubt they would release it in December, because they'd want people to have time to buy it before christmas.
