The will of Xehanort's Keyblade and KHX (Theory)

Posted

So anybody who is a Zelda fan will know that there is another mastermind villain known as Demise and it is his will that instills the actions of the iconic villain known as Ganondorf.

What if the same thing could be applied in Kingdom Hearts?

KHX states there were 6 masters and there was a person who led them all known as the "master of masters" (so then....the person who taught this person would be known as the master of the master of masters...and then the master of that guy would be...okay i'll stop)

But out of the 6, only 5 masters (now known as Foretellers) decided to form unions/guilds of their own and within these 5 foretellers there is a traitor (Theres the cue to play the 'GUESS WHO?" board game)

(Could the 6th Foreteller be named Jake???...)

Since all 5 of the Union leader's Keblades have been revealed, only the 6th foreteller is shrouded in Mystery...plus we also know there is a traitor amongst them (i.e. the moogle...bad moogle! no kupo nuts for you!)

Put it this way, what if the 6th Master's Keyblade was actually the same Keyblade to be inherited by Master Xehanort (I'm sure people on this Forum have already brought that up). BUT somehow the 6th Master imbued the Keyblade with his will so that he is the mastermind who is Pulling Xehanort's strings (kinda like the Demise - Ganondorf relationship but this time we have the 6th Foreteller and Xehanort).

If this were the case, this would explain why Xehanort has knowledge of the Tome of Prophecies despite the fact that KHX occured WAY before Xehanort's time (i.e. he would not have been born then)....OR it could be that the 6th Foreteller possessed the knowledge and was very good at body jumping and possessed many unfortunate souls before possessing Xehanort. We don't see any body snatching abilities by other masters or other wielders except for our amber-eyed-friend.

I'm sure people on this forum have noticed the similarities in the foreteller's Keyblades and Master Xehanort's stolen Keyblade.

I've also had a sneaking suspicion that out of the 5 foretellers, the traitor is also the hero (Madame Ava)...and that the other 4 are plotting something malicious alongside the 6th Foreteller.

We know that at the end of KHx, a great war of Keyblades occurs - this would have only been made possible if the 4 foretellers decided to pit their union members against one another in a false proclamation to reclaim 'the great light' when in fact it was all an 'experiment' in order to realise the wish of this '6th foreteller' of whom they are working closely alongside with....

but that too ultimately failed because if it succeeded we wouldn't have KH1, 2, days, BBS...etc....

and perhaps this 6th foreteller didn't survive the war and so his legacy was passed down to....the man affected by premature heriditory male pattern baldness named Xehanort.....

Great theory! Although I thought the 6th foreteller would be the traitor.

I shall once again say what I have thought and what TheNinjasJoint has also said. The sixth apprentice was not given the book. Out of the negative feelings for being left out, he turns on all the foretellers. He is the traitor. His keyblade is passed down through the ages and Master Xehanort inherits it. YX did say it is most ancient and a will passed on.

Hmm....an interesting idea/theory...

I'm not sure some people will like "The Man Behind The Man" Trope to be invoked, or "Bigger Bad", but I personally am quite intrigued!

It would make sense, as Master Xehanort's Keyblade seems to have quite some significance and it retaining the Will of the 6th Foreteller along with whatever other important stuff lies within, would definitely mix things up a little.

(And people say KH is for kids. xD)

Wow, this is a pretty solidly good theory!  It all makes great sense, but I wouldn't want Xehanort being manipulated by another person, ya know?  During the whole series, old man Nort has been built up to be an omnipotent force to be reckoned with, and I want to believe that his ambition for seeing another Keyblade War is his own, and not that of another person's will.  Although...if you hear this quote in Birth By Sleep, just when Xehanort is about to possess Terra:

"I swore I would survive, and see what lied beyond the Keyblade War!"

Okay, this probably meant he wanted to see what lied beyond the Keyblade War he wanted to cause when Ventus and Vanitas clashed to forge the X-Blade, but if you look at it another way, it does seem as if what Xehanort is saying is the will of another person, a.k.a, the 6th Foreteller.  If that were the case, then it'd make sense! There has to be something there!

So yeah, for now, I'm about 50/50 on this theory.  We'll just have to wait and see what happens! :3
