Posted October 23, 201510 yr https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica/status/657330612064399360 I'm surprised that they haven't given up on the timeline by now, especially with all of the flaws it has, but people still seem to enjoy it, so I guess I'll do the same too. October 23, 201510 yr Timeline seems straightforward to me, and it was a nice simple answer they gave too.
October 23, 201510 yr It wouldn't make sense to establish a timeline, make Hyrule Historia and then forget about it a couple years later,so I'm glad to see Tri Force Heroes in the Zelda timeline.
October 23, 201510 yr Yeah, I'll be honest, the timeline's never really bothered me. Even MatPat's video on it didn't really debunk anything.
October 23, 201510 yr I'm kind of in the same boat here. I look at the timeline and think, what is so difficult to understand and confusing? Plus, Skyward Sword, for me, nailed the origin of the hero story.

Not saying the zelda timeline is confusing because the people who think the zelda timeline is confusing are the people who never really study the timeline. I understand everything that has happened in the zelda timeline. I can't wait to see where zelda u takes place in the timeline. I don't want them to give up on the timeline anyways. It has so much lore in it. Edited October 23, 201510 yr by Luke Fon Fabre

It has so much lore in it. Alright good. It's such a shame when some fans don't like taking the extra effort to understand the lore of a franchise, though it's probably worse if the creators and developers suddenly scrap all the lore because they don't want to keep trying to figure things out...or if somebody threatens to sue them or something. So many great series have been compromised due to mishaps like that... T3T"

I mean the thing is called "LEGEND of Zelda" That title screams lore.
