Hey there guys. I'm a longtime reader, former member of the KH13 community and game blogger. I'm looking to engage more with the fandoms of the games I write about and hopefully drum up some interest in my blog. A little while back I started a series of articles on how islands are used as settings in games, largely because I was born and raised on an island. For the second article I examined how islands are used as the introductions to games, and so focussed heavily on Destiny Islands (as well as a few islands from Zelda: Wind Waker). Here's a link to the article: Little Worlds Within Themselves Part 2 - islands as introductory segments within games I'd love to hear thoughts from you genuine fans of the series, as well as any ideas about the sorts of things from Kingdom Hearts I could write about in the future. Breath of the Wild is Nintendo's most ambitious game in years. Not only is it a new Zelda, but it's massive and it breaks away from the conventions that made Zelda what it is today, and for that reason this title has huge promise. -
Ganon as villain, or playable, or both. More than likely both...

1. the bosses are TOO hard ' 2. the temples are TOO difficult 3. an enemy can hit you if you are higher or lower then them depending on where you are 4. I hate the graphics(don't get me wrong. I like the art style though) 5. the final boss is ridiculously hard!

I respect his opinion, but they way he worded his statement sounds rude especially with the "true" zelda fan nonsense. seriously though, does that seriously mean that I have to hate Twilight Princess in order to become a "true" zelda fan?

I think it will be the last main zelda title that we're going to get assuming that the information about Twilight Princess getting a remake/remaster is fake.

Kind of upset by the lack of single player/online play (at any time, anyway) in the demo, but I have plenty of friends who were interested in the game, so I definitely plan on trying this out! -
(dang, I haven't done a zelda related post in a while) What do you think about this? I think that this could either mean that Twilight Princess could be getting an HD remaster, which is NOT likely, or this could mean nothing at all, which I think is likely.

I'm close to finishing the game and I want to know if there's anything I may have missed. I have: -All the Goddess Cubes activated/all the Goddess Chests opened. -All the Gratitude Crystal side quests are completed and Batreaux is human. -I own at least one of every bug and treasure. -I can hold up to 9,900 Rupees (the limit of the Tycoon Wallet and three Extra Wallets; aka the highest amount of Rupees in the game). -I have the Hylian Shield -I have nineteen hearts, and I know where to get three more Heart Pieces. -I have the Sacrad Bow, the Tough Beetle, the Big Bug Net, the Scattershot etc. Everything is upgraded (and in addition, I'm carrying three fairies, a 25 arrow quiver and a 25 bomb bag). So is there anything you guys know of that I'm missing out on?

This was pointed out by a few who were really following the Hyrule Warriors news. No idea how you get it, but as you can see below, Impa is wearing the Mask of Truth. It's speculated that more masks are available to the characters within the game. Who they are and which masks they'll get is unknown. Original Image:

At first I was against the idea that zelda u should be an open world game. I know it's been confirmed though, but now I think that zelda u is going to be a good game without any type of linearity in it. The game might be just like minecraft and skyrim, where the game is so opened and barely has any story(I doubt that zelda u will not have a story and I know that minecraft doesn't have a story at all) that people won't care about it, or won't even think about it. I think this sometimes happens with all games that don't have their primary focus in story. I like linear games more than open world games, but I'm trying to open myself up so I can enjoy non-linear games.

Even though Hyrule Warriors is only a week away from release, we already have an amazing DLC lineup into February of next year. First off, we have Cia, Volga, and Wizzro joining the disc based roster in another update. We'll be able to use them on the day we pic up our copies. As for the rest of the DLC, we'll be purchasing them for a nice price. The first DLC, dubbed "Hyrule Warriors Master Quest" comes out in October 16th and adds 2 new costumes, a new Adventure map, a new weapon, and a new scenario. Then we have a Twilight Princess Pack and a Majora's Mask Pack, both of which include not only new costumes, but new characters altogether. Then there's a Ganon Pack that includes two new game modes. Finally, you can pre-order all them together at the likely price of $15 and get a Dark Link costume as an added bonus. Now, everything at the link provided will list the price in Yen, but Nintendo of Europe tweeted the Dark Link skin, so my bet is these packs will be purchasable from the eShop on Day 1 of the English Hyrule Warriors release.
